Actually I was thinking the same thing. Will they try to trade him or just release him. It'll be intresting to see come March.

Trade deadline has past. I doubt they would keep him until the offseason to trade him.

I think the only team that would try him would be the Cardinals. Dennis Green is always ok with having a hot head on the team, i think all other teams dont want to take the risk or ruining their team

He already have a good WR duo, Boldin and Fitzgerald. Why would he want TO? They should get a RB or something.

Haha, yeah they really should invest in a decent RB.

More of Rumor Central that I heard in the off-season.

Zona trading Fitzgerald and a pick to Philly for TO but with TO getting a roster bonus sometime in March it's doubtful that anyone trades for him. Like Beef said they'll probably cut him.

You have to admit, you would like to see them go the "vengeance" route and not cut him, pay him, but dont play him. It would be torture. No publicity after the first couple weeks of first 2 seasons, then media would just move on, and he would rot for 5 years.

I love the idea....pay him the roster bonus, retain his rights, continue to pay him but never let him play....the Eagles have managed thier cap sitiation so well, it wouldnt even effect them....heres a better idea though:go to TO, tell him they will reinstate him if he signs a new deal that all incentive based....give him ridiculous ammounts for easily reachable incentives and convince him to do it based on a strong probibility that he can reach those incentives and make that money....im talking about bonuses like $10 mil for 100 catches, another $1 mil per TD, with a $5 mil bonus for 10 TDS, but the salaries are only the minumum.....then once he has that long term and very lucrative deal based entirely on incentive, SIT HIS ASS!

TO's not worth Fitz straight up at this point...his tradee value is nothing....the Eagles would have to add further compenstation to get a guy like Fitzgerald....
