...^^^ Tote, that's the issue I have with anyone proposing gun laws/restrictions...until they can explain to me how in the hell they're gonna confiscate weapons from criminals and how they are going to keep people from circumventing the law and purchasing weapons illegally. ...and until then I'll continue to laugh at the politicians proposing half baked gun control legislation.
Actually saw a lib on Meet the Press describe "gun control" as having a safe and training in the use of guns for the entire family. Then a NYT bitch whined about "assault weapons" to which Rich Lowry slammed home that the AR15 isn't an assault weapon, its a semiauto rifle and that she was misunderstanding cosmetic features.

With the high tech fantastic weaponry this country, other industrialized western nations and Russia have at their desposal, they're still not committed (or able) to search out and destroy skumbag illiterate fanatics with common AK 47s, home made explosives and cell phones. All the fancy weapons in the world aren't worth a pile of shit as long as the leadership (and civilians) of these Nations don't have the resolve, anger and dedication needed to stay the course and do the job. It's been reported (leaked) that this administration holds back the bombing of oil trucks out of concern the drivers were "civilians" and for environmental concerns. WHY ISN'T THIS CONSIDERED TO BE THE DANGEROUS JOKE IT IS, TREATED AS SUCH AND WIDELY REPORTED BY THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA? And the President is a Harvard grad? Is THIS what they teach at Haavaard?
