I have colleagues in Europe asking me if owning firearms makes me feel safer? The answer I give....owning alone, no. You have to train regularly to develop the skills, confidence, muscle memory, etc. When you are at the range and the guy two booths down fires off a rifle or hand cannon, and you don't flinch....then your ready to protect yourself and your family. Then owning firearms at home or concealed carry brings an incredible sense of preparedness. You are in fact realizing your God given right as a human to self preservation. Regardless the intent of Govt to shield and care for you, at your moment of greatest need - only you have the ability to determine and perform those actions that protect you and your family. Next question I get, when I visit CA next, can you take me shooting...lol! We're watching socialized liberalism fly right out the window.
