If you have to, repeatedly, explain that something you say was meant as a joke, it means you're not actually that funny.
Put religion and God aside. Is it not obvious it take a penis and a vagina to reproduce and men were meant for women? Don't get me wrong, I believe in personal rights stretch further than biological fit, and any relationship two people want to have with each other is their choice, not mine. But the fact is, as humans, if we don't maintain man for woman, woman for man, we will eventually go extinct? And with that, wouldn't we, as a human race, want to push for (not force) heterosexual marriages. I believe one can differentiate the overall view of gay marriage and be opposed to it, while simultaneously being for a gay persons choice to get married. No different than abortion to me. I don't agree with most types of abortion, but ill never try to force pro life on anyone else. Why cant one be for the individual right of a person to make a choice, but still not agree with some of the choices made by individuals? Doesn't mean that person is going to try to force a change on the other person other than through hopeful discussions and changing of minds.
That is absurd. One danger our species is NOT facing is extinction due to underpopulation. I've heard that dumb antigay argument for at least 40 years. Men were meant for women? Meant by whom? There are some personal decisions that harm others, like driving drunk or not getting vaccinated. There are others that are no one else's damn business. I have yet to meet to he straight person who asked my permission to get married.
I thought they were called a "couple" and labeled a "same sex couple". Don't worry, sitting at the booth next to you isn't going to get gay in your lungs, or burn your eyes with their gay, or create impenetrable clouds of gay that make your clothes smell for months.
Again, I'm fine with you not being for those things. I have a problem with people voting to force that belief on others. There is zero threat of the population becoming too gay to reproduce. In fact, tribes with homosexual members tend to be more prosperous because there are more healthy adult contributors per child.
Yeah, I wont vote for those either. But my heart believe another. Its just not right of me to force that on others. That last sentence though..You know any tribes in American society where this would apply? lol. Meaning, you don't see people raising other peoples' children, other than daycare. And that's a farce compared to what you speak of, which is truly a good thing if we could become more community oriented like that again. I do believe in helping take care of our own...meaning those around us, neighbors, etc. working together.
Gay people pay taxes too. That's how modern societies handle these things. And gay people also adopt kids who would otherwise be wards of the state or worse.
I don't disagree with that. I'm just also able to look at it as a reproductive thing and, to me, its obvious that man was meant for woman. However what is meant to be and what is, is not always the same. My point is, I can see where @ABM comes from and though I may not agree to the extent he does,as far as how far to push ones opinion, I totally understand his stance. It's really difficult to dispute man was meant for woman and woman meant for man. I prefer to maintain a human is a human and I have a love for all humans, even if most of them piss me off. LOL!
Technically, no. It requires sperm and egg, penis and vagina are not necessary. In the year 6565 You won't need no husband, won't need no wife You'll pick your son, pick your daughter too From the bottom of a long glass tube barfo
Are you one of those people that just repeat someone's words during an argument? And keep doing it, and doing it, and doing it, and doing it? Because no one likes that guy.
