He's a dumbass. Earlier in the year he was leading the Evan Turner hate brigade and literally his only argument were his +\- stats. Then when he got called out about judging individual players based on a stat like that, he said some bullshit about how he only uses it "in context." And I'd love to know how he honestly thinks Nurkic is going to nosedive in Portland. It's not like Nurkic hasnt struggled in any games here. You'd think he'd be praising a 22 year olds development, but instead hes doubling down on his takes. Fuck him.
Yeah first it was Evan Turner that was his target for whatever reason. After every game when Turner wasn't playing great he would update people on his - now it has become about Nurkic. The other clown writer is that local (I think) guy that's a huge Meyers Leonard apologist. Haven't noticed this season because I don't follow him anymore, but in previous years he'd have this condescending attitude towards anyone that criticized Leonard. National NBA writers know if you hate on Portland you get lots of attention. Attention is everything, good or bad, clicks and responses are all that count.

Similar to Whiteside? No. Not even close. IMO he could be pre-injury Laker Andrew Bynum. He is a legit rim protector with a natural feel on the offensive end.
