I completely agree with potg, they use getting high as an excuse to make it illegal. people overrate this all the time. people say it's the gateway drug, but in my eyes only emotionally weak people would get into other drugs. I'm fine with my own high, I don't need to give in to cocaine or heroine or any of the worse drugs that can actually kill you. It's a fact that no one has ever died JUST from smoking marijuana over time. You can't get cancer from the smoke alone. the reason cigarettes give you lung cancer is from the tar and other chemicals in them. besides, no one smokes like 15 joints a day, like someone would smoke 15 cigarettes. you also can't overdose on marijuana. it is literally impossible to.
Marijuana is illegal not because you can grow it at home, believe it or not, its the same principle as growing fruits n such. Weed can affect your state of mind just like alcohol. Now, why weed is illegal and alcohol isnt? I think the reason is because when people smoke weed, it prompts them to do way more serious drugs like Angel Dust or Cocaine, alcohol doesn't really do that. Most people dont get addicted to acohol(but unfortunely some people do), but with marijuana, most people do if they do it more than 2 or 3 times. It has nothing to do with taxes and all that crap. Personally, I smoked the twigs twice and it didnt do much to me, Im already pretty damn laid back and its overrated IMO.
I hate when people say that once someone tries marijuana, they eventually become unsatisfied with their high and go to the next step up. NOT TRUE AT ALL. I've smoked plenty of times, and the last time was just as good as the first. I have a friend who smokes everyday, EVERYDAY for the past few months, and it never gets old. he's never even considered doing cocaine, heroine, PCP any of that stuff. because he's not an idiot.and come on, people don't become addicted to marijuana. simply not the case at all. just because they like doing something doesn't mean they are addicted. If I really wanted to, I could stop smoking. I dont think smoking weed makes you want to go straight to cocaine, but seeing it with my own eyes, Ive seen people go to great lengths to get a better high cause weed has melowed out for them, so many kids Ive seen just do that. People say they can stop, but I never see them really do it. Its not that bad of a drug in the first place, but I think its illegal cause it CAN prompt some weaker people to do other drugs. But I have no problem with people doing it, cause most dont put themselves and others in danger, but given to the wrong person it can. Same way with alcohol. I think if alcohol is legal so should weed, or if weed is illegal so should alcohol. But unfortunely thats how it is. but you are overrating the effects. a person can still funtion normally. people can drive, do school work, chores, all that sutff. when people are drunk they can't even walk.
Ok, first off, when people are drunk they can walk..your kindve overrating the affects of being drunk, but you can get to a point of drunkness where you can walk. As for weed, it slows down your awareness, you cant think as fast. Weed isnt illegal for no reason, its just not best for you when your trying to go about your everyday life.But like I said earlier, most people do it responsbly, but there are some who are high and still try to do stuff and they hurt other people.(unlike alcohol which can make ALOTVE people do stupid sutff)

I'm not smoking that crap. Drinking isn't that bad. Only if you abuse it could it cause harm. I'm sticking with drinking because I have no interest in smoking that crap. I know you have tried it and said bad things about pot.

High people are WAY better than Drunk people.You can't have fun around drunk people if you arent drunk - all they do is piss me off.High people are great - so nice, so chill, and you dont need to be smoking to have fun with them. You just laugh - it's great.
