Fairly traditional for our family. Main Meal: Roast venison rubbed with a paste of fresh churned butter, rosemary, sage, garlic, salt and pepper. Fondant potatoes Morel mushroom gravy Candied yams Green beans with bacon Jalapeno coleslaw salad Dessert: Fry Bread dipped in clarified butter topped with huckleberry preserves.
That's a good choice as I always enjoy my grandma's homemade sweet potato pie. However, I would definitely try Butternut Squash Spice Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting.
As a pie loving American who loves Thanksgiving, this list is hard to look at. Of the choices, I vote sweet potato pie

I was only joking, I eat food with my family to humor them but I wouldn't celebrate it if it wasn't for them. It's a lame holiday to me for the whole Indian thing, plus you do the same thing with Christmas just a month later.
Means two bars of Scharffen-Berger go into it, plus dark cocoa, plus chocolate cookie crust. I think some whipped cream would be good on top.
