So Republicans that agree with you and Munster's philosophy are hard working citizens. But, Democrats that think Romney's all hogwash aren't working very hard?

    Gotcha.

I love how the Republican playbook these days is to act pretentious towards Democrats like they're undeducated freeloaders.

I think it's time for Zags and Maxiep to stop the arguing and find some common ground.

Maxie, if Zags were to join a yard maintenance union in Colorado would you hire him to blow your leaves?

Maybe for you, personally I find it rather easy being a citizen casting my vote in Oregon.

But by all means, let's research foreign affairs to see who has a better plan on it. Forget the fact that some have devoted their whole life to study the middle east and still can't grasp all the issues, i'm sure Joe the plumber can master it all with a some research and determine who is better for the country in foreign affairs, who is better for the middle class, who will be better for the planet. Assuming of course the candidates follow through on what they say . . . which history shows is a bad assumption.

Where did I say just Republicans or people who think like me? Are you trying to say that as the Democratic party of today is against doing research? No wonder I left it.

See, you're falling into the trap of believing that only experts can reason properly.

As for being a citizen casting your vote in Oregon, I just filled out my Clackamas County ballot this evening.

I'm gonna attempt (probably unsuccessfully) to bring a little perspective here.

    1. If your guy doesn't win, the US/world/universe is not going to collapse.
    2. It has been proved countless times by countless people that members of both parties lie, skew facts and numbers...and even tell the truth once in awhile.
    3. Insulting anyone's intelligence just because they don't agree with you politically speaks for itself.
    4. The internet is a wonderful medium for political discussions because anyone can look up anything, spew whatever nonsense they want, and have the comfort and security of knowing they're safely behind a computer screen. Keep that in mind when you read these political posts.
    5. Political attack ads will always be here because they work. Sad but true. Both parties use them and will continue to use them for a long time.

P.S. Maxeip I still want to know who that woman is in your picture. Does she work at a Starbucks or a Dutch Bros or something? I'm almost positive I know her from somewhere.

Sorry, but I have no idea. A buddy of mine sent me the picture because the kid looks exactly like Chris Farley. He found it on the internet.

    Smartness is a relative term.

My Dad told me once rather than assume you are smarter than most people it's more realistic to assume you're just not as stupid as most people.

I'm paraphrasing, but that's the gist of it.

Good luck with this post. I've been trying this in my own way for a long time and it doesn't work with sheep.

First off, gratz on the promotion to driver. I do wish nothing but the best. I have friends that work for UPS,they get their collective asses ran ragged. Guys that were hired under the "old" wage and benifit package do get pounded on to retire etc, so the company can hire younger guys at a lessor scale.

seconed, lets not use your union as an example, although I could

lets look a retail chains that were and still are union

first example, Sears, by the mid 60s followed the pattern of a union in decline that I gave you. Mind you the econemy was fine so you can not blame current marker forces. At this time Sears is owned by K Mart..where is all those union jobs now?

more recent, look at Payless drugs, same thing , cut full time to prt time, force out higher scale employees, big bosses cover ass, bingo, sold.

there are hundreds of examples I can point out that have followed the pattern

look at whose pretty Red pom-poms are in a twist. Like I said in the post you're responding to, I've never read you doing anything in the OT section but supporting the GOP while claiming to be an independent. I've read hundreds of your posts doing so and only the most tepid of criticism. I've easily read 50+ posts of you characterizing posters with independent and liberal views as sheep... which really reflects mostly on you being a Slypokerdog incapable of civil debate.

blah blah blah... this comes right after the post where I called both parties corporate whores, said our election process is broken and relayed I'm voting for Gary Johnson. Yeah I sure am in total lock step with the Democratic party line. Laughable that you're claiming I can't read.
