Trump will step back, as it's not his job to prosecute her.

She will be prosecuted by the Dept of Justice for aiding and abetting the enemy by knowingly arming ISIS and Al Quaeda sponsors Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Yemen, and for selling influence on billion dollar deals she pushed while in the State Dept. Wikileaks and the FBI have already published more than enough evidence to assure convictions.

She and Bill, and probably Chelsea, will be prosecuted by the Dept of Justice for charity fraud, money laundering, theft by deception, tax fraud...and maybe some real disgusting child-trafficking stuff...when the ongoing FBI investigation is finally completed.

James Comey provided proof that she lied under oath to Congress, so she could also face those charges.

Numerous lawsuits will follow her the rest of her miserable life.

If they let her off like they did with Nixon, you'll see a 3rd party President sooner than you think.

I firmly believe that Trump is going soft on Clinton to try to mend the open gaping festering putrid wound that is the liberal left. As much as I would love for him to prosecute the shit out of that hag, I understand that the safe space, play doh using, emotional support animal, tolerant left would likely like an olive branch extended towards them.

I rather hope he does. If he does, that right there says she is guilty and in need of pardon. Trump nor the AG with have any need to fool with her.
I do hope Trump then pardons the sailor in jail for some damn pictures of an old sub on is phone.

Actually it would be better not to prosecute her, because to do so would steer us dangerously close to tinpot dicatorship territory -- that's what Banana Republics do.

EDIT: The same reason Obama didn't go after Bush W's administration for torture; politically motivated revenge trials/imprisonment destabilize republics. Just look at Erdogan and what he's doing in Turkey right now.

A pardon is an admission of guilt.

    Officially.

I don't know if he would stop an ongoing investigation, but yeah, he shouldn't order the special prosecutor that he promised toward the end of the election.

And totally irrelevant, not only because it's the Electoral College that matters, but because neither candidate campaigned as if this were a popular vote election.

Yeah, I see lots of right wing "news" sites making that claim. I see not a scintilla of evidence to support it. As a result, I don't see any reputable news sites reporting it.

New voter registration in individual states with a very high percentage registering as Democrats, doesn't square with the numbers of yearly Naturalized citizens.
I am not going to check every state for you but I did hear, south Texas registered over 600 thousand new Hispanic voters since the last election. South Florida almost the same.
    California too.

    http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-...ers-voter-registration-primary-htmlstory.html

    https://www.uscis.gov/archive/archive-news/naturalization-fact-sheet

People want a creditable source of data on this subject. We do not get it. Why not? It does seem to be what the news media should be checking on for the people.
    The government doesn't tell us.
