I finally figured it out, throw some 2nd rounders around and make this work.

 

No way Morey trades us Simmons, it looks to them like a Dame trade is very much in play.

 

Who is Philly's biggest rival? Let's trade Dame to them.

 

If we trade Dame I hope it’s to Boston, I think Brown would look good in a Blazer uni.

 

My guess is Grant talks break down and we snag Bagley tomorrow. Could just use a change of scenery?

But the way things are going, the trade would be something like Dame for Smart/Williams 2 second rounders.

I'm not sure Detroit would give up that much.... they could just sign Nurk outright in the summer.

Just a total guess on my part , but I wouldn’t be shocked to see Grant and Bagley on the Blazers by Thursday

 

Yeah I am pretty much done with Nurk, Grant would work for me

 

Yeah, Bagley doesn't make sense in Sacramento and we have plenty of playing time available up front.

I'm fine getting Grant if we don't send out picks nor give him a max extension.

 

I guess I would do this straight up. Although I question how we would win anything with a Dame & Grant duo. Although a Dame & Nurk duo isn't leading the team to contend without another all star either. Grant gives us more positional flexibility, ability to go small, and possible defense if he can regain his OKC/DEN form. Plus is signed for next season.

Like my above post, we cant give up picks or a Grant max extension in this. Let Grant prove he is a max level star next year with Dame, as I have major doubts.

 

Grant = TPE or Bledsoe. Then it's up to what additionally they want. Would be basically a salary dump for them. They already have a lot of cap space. Could do Nurk + as well.
Bagley = Satoransky + probably a 2nd round pick. Can't believe they'd use the TPE on him.

It comes down to what they can do with the cap space this summer for unbalanced trades to facilitate other deals. Definitely a roll of the dice, but at least there is a direction and a plan versus Neil's nonsense.
