Williams offers zero spacing and is one of the best rim protectors/rim finishers in the league. He needs to be as close to the basket as possible imo.

Reportedly, yesterday Woj said that the Celtics were going to 'shake things up' and that the breakup of Brown and Tatum was being given consideration.

Simons + Powell + RoCo for Brown + Freedom?

hate leaving CJ in Portland though but could be a follow-up trade

If you think that CJ is more valuable than Grant or Fox then it's probably not worth trying to argue with you. :no2drugs:

CJ is the definition of a chucker. He's a great shooter, but he doesn't make plays for others, plays horrible defense, and NEVER gets to the foul line. He offers nothing other than scoring. Also, the dude has missed pretty decent chunks of time the last two years and was hurt in the playoffs the year prior.

I said CJ was a better scorer than both, and he is. Grant would never be a first or second option on a playoff team. He’s a role player with a green light. He’s the chucker. Fox can’t shoot.

OK, if he is that good; I'll take him too and also take Horford's contract off them. Simons, Little , Powell, Nurk and Roco for Brown, Williams and Horford. Try to substitute Nance plus a pick for Little. Would still have CJ to trade for something else then. Boston could try those guys out and if they don't like them, they would have some cap space.

I think only Simons would be interesting for them. Nurk plus Simons for Woods would work.

Shams putting an end to all Fox trade talk.

The Sacramento Kings organization has a current mindset: They are not trading guard De’Aaron Fox, sources tell The Athletic. The Kings remain active in trade conversations, informing teams in the marketplace that they want to build around Fox and second-year guard Tyrese Haliburton, sources said. The Kings have informed Fox and his representation, agent Chris Gaston of Family First Sports, that they do not want to trade him and want to center the team around him and Haliburton.

Team sources said any potential deal around Fox for Pacers center Domantas Sabonis will not happen.

Hard to backtrack from this one if you're the Kings.

all this stuff is supporting my reasoning that any rumors involving Philly are coming straight from Morey's mouth.

The more “leaks” the more likely Simmons ends up getting traded imo. These all sound like last ditch efforts before Morey takes the best deal on the table. Still can’t see it happening, but we’ll see I guess.
