Collins shoots over 3 threes a game at nearly a 40% clip. And a career 56% from the field. If we plan on keeping Nurk, he's the PF of choice for me.

Siakam might be a better overall talent, but the fit is clunky with him, and he needs the paint to be clear to work his spin moves.

I like his defense better, but if we also get a defensive SF like Little, I think Collins would suffice.

How about we trade Norm and Roco to the Clippers for a bunch of crap?

The winner of a trade immediately after it happens is all that matters lol get a grip.

    open up full MLE

clear up the surplus (If Bledsoe stays he’s not gonna be stealing anyone’s minutes, and will be a large expiring to play with in the offseason)

get a young prospect, Johnson was pretty well thought of just a year ago especially defensively, and Billups has shown to be good with guards.

Winslow is another plus defender that can play the 3/4, I’ve always had a thing for him because of his playmaking/defensive attributes. This has Billups written all over him as well.

I think we could’ve gotten a first and will miss RoCo. But Powell had to go and this move also clears up long term money.

Would not be surprised if McCollum was next.

According to RAPTOR Bledsoe grades out significantly higher than Powell btw. Even Winslow grades out better.

The Clips don't think much of the players:
    Johnson 9.0 mpg, 17.2% from 3
    Winslow 13.0 mpg, 27.3% from 3

and the Clips are pretty beaten up this year, so their low mpg is telling, as is their 3fg%. These are CJE type numbers.

The bigger question is: why would you accept a full MLE from such a self-depleted team instead of from somewhere else?

Crying we didn’t get a first lol would’ve been cool but you may as well count Keon Johnson as that first. He’s only 19 and has a big upside and fits the way Billups wants to play.

You have no fucking credibility after trying to justify this shit... all of your calling other people out on here for there bad takes and this is what you have to say. You're the one that needs to get a grip.

Still to give up Norm for two unproven guys, (assuming you let Bledsoe go at the deadline) doesn't seem like Portland got a good deal in any way shape or form. They needed a pick and got no value in return. Basically they are forced to keep those two because they are on multi-year deals and nobody would want them. So gained two long-term players. That doesn't help Dame at all.

    25th of 30 teams?

personally I’d prefer a top 6 or 7 at the PF position- something we’ve been seriously void of for some time now

There is a VERY REMOTE chance that this is the first part of a 3-team trade.
