Decided to try out my jinx powers. Thread started at the start of the 4th quarter, T-wolves down by 20.

They need to go young and trade for future draft picks.

This series will be decided by how Boston plays. If Boston shuts down the Mava offense the Celtics will win. If Boston shuts down the Celtics offense the Mavs will win.

Eh, I think six games. Gonna depend on how the league refs the series.

Boston is the clear favourite, rooting for them is like rooting for Durant Warriors.
    Celtics winning will be boring.
Dallas was not in the playoffs last year.
The Mavs winning is a testament that you don't need a lengthy rebuild to win it all.

Traded for Kyrie trade deadline 2023
    Missed the playoffs
Drafted Lively with the 12th pick 2023
Traded for P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford trade deadline 2024
    NBA Finals

Sure, but that’s all with a top 3 player in the league leading the way. That’s kind of a big important piece of why they’re here.

Does anyone think the Celtics are going to win? This is like the Shaq Magic against the Olajuwon Rockets. I'd almost feel sorry for the Celtics except they're the Celtics.
Kyrie vs. Porzingis for the revenge grudge match.

Missing the playoffs last year shouldn't be a turn around accomplishment as Dallas blatantly tanked to intentionally miss the playoffs and keep their pick, which they were fined for.

Dallas was just in the conference finals a prior season.

They did make some great moves and deserve credit for those moves.

Boston deserves a lot of credit as well. They've won 1 title since 1986 and it was not as recent as Dallas so no they don't deserve any comparison to the Durant Warriors.

Which Blazers legend are we rooting for?

    DJJ or JH?

I might have to hold my nose and root for Boston..., Ugh.

Tatum told everyone this year he is the best player in the NBA. Time to show that against Luka?
Two players with something to prove at this point.
