We should've drafted him at 11

A little early. I don't think this dudes game is meant for summer league. Batum sucked in summer league and actually played well in the real league by his 2nd year.

i notice that our new center's playing weight is now listed @ 260 #'s. that's 7 pounds of pure muscle added since the combine alone boys and girls. will easily be 20 by training camp. looks taller too.

KJ is the exactly the kind of player that SHOULD do well in summer league. He isn't a 3+D specialist like a young Batum.

Regardless of Marang's constant touting of KJ, I couldn't see where he was going to be able to create space or the threat of his own show to make the right pass he is supposedly good at. His athleticism didn't seem above average in college, let alone at the next level. He has some skills, but I'm not surprised he is struggling.

KJ is who Givony had us taking at 11. Now did Schmitz ask his buddy to do him a solid and set a huge smokescreen? Maybe but it wasn't just posters on here, it was national media too.

Also the dude is just choking big time and it's not uncommon. I still wouldn't put it past him to be good at some point in the NBA but if he's going to be a guy who can hold down both guard spots in games that matter he's going to have to work on his poise more than anything.

I'm definitely hyped by most posters but unfortunately was not on the radar.
