Reports: UCF to face Penn State in Ireland in 2014 UCF will be traveling to Ireland in 2014 where they'll take on Penn State, according to multiple reports. An official announcement is expected Sunday. The Orlando Sentinel and The Irish Times report the game will take place at 82,300-seat Croke Park in Dublin. The current head coaches at both programs — George O'Leary (UCF) and Bill O'Brien — have Irish bloodlines. It will mark the fourth meeting between the schools. Penn State currently leads the series 2-0, but they'll face off again during the 2013 season at Beaver Stadium on Sept. 14. Last year, Notre Dame and Navy played at Dublin's Aviva Stadium before an announced crowd of 48,200. The letter also alleged that Hurtt provided false and misleading information during the probe, a violation of ethical conduct rule 10.1.

Munchie Legaux out for season Cincinnati quarterback Munchie Legaux will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a gruesome knee injury, Bearcats coach Tommy Tuberville confirmed to multiple media outlets Sunday. Legaux was transferred to UC Medical Center in Cincinnati on Sunday, the school said in a news release. He spent Saturday night at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Ill., after Saturday's game against Illinois. The school has not revealed the specific nature of Legaux's injury, but Tuberville said it was serious and that Legaux was having tests Monday to determine the severity of the injury.
Munchie Legaux has surgery on knee Quarterback Munchie Legaux had surgery Friday to repair torn ligaments in his left knee after being injured during Cincinnati's 45-17 loss at Illinois last weekend. The senior is finished for the season, but hopes to play eventually. Coach Tommy Tuberville said earlier in the week that there's optimism he could get a redshirt season and return next year.

Perry ran for 100 yards and two touchdowns and Bridgewater overcame a shaky start to pass for 250 yards and the Cardinals scored on four consecutive drives to pull away from rival Kentucky for a 27-13 victory on Saturday.

UConn fires Paul Pasqualoni Connecticut fired coach Paul Pasqualoni on Monday, with the Huskies winless in four games and coming off a 41-12 loss at Buffalo. Athletic director Warde Manuel announced the dismissal two days after the latest defeat. Pasqualoni, in his third season at UConn, finishes with a 10-18 record.
