    If you were the principal at a school and a bully who you've had issues with in the past started making jokes indirectly about the kids he bullied or purposely went out of his way to keep bringing it up, would you think it was a good idea to continue to let him get away with the baiting or would you take care of it.

    From my point of view this is like the principal who does nothing even though they have seen and been told about it. How many chances does he get? People standing up to the bully shouldn't be criticized for doing so. You know damn well why he made that joke to begin with.

    You're example works if I were dealing with children. Neither of you are. Cup posted what he did. There is no rule against the that. There was no action for staff to take. You didn't like his post. I totally get why you didn't like it. But enough. Do we need 20 damn posts of you two snipping at each other about it?

    Depends how "indirect". For example, rich bully gets in trouble for mocking poor kids. Next day, bully is overheard exulting over his expensive possessions. IMO, principal can't do anything about that, even though it's clearly intended to elicit a response from the prior bullying victim. If the poor kid were to respond angrily/aggressively to the insensitive rich jerk, the once-victim would now be the one in trouble.

    Sometimes, the respondent simply has to take responsibility for their response and quit blaming the "indirect" antagonist.

    And when that kid commits suicide you'd feel fine that you did all you could?

    This stuff completely ruined Oregon Live. He's doing the same things here. All the mods see it. Ignoring the problem because he's the master at skirting the rules makes a wonderful place to come to a lot less enjoyable.

    "Ignoring" the problem would solve the problem for you, because you wouldn't see his posts.

    And just because something isn't being addressed in the way you want and in your field of vision doesn't mean it isn't being addressed at all. Don't assume you know all there is to know. Just take responsibility for yourself.

    I am taking responsibility. I'm going to continue to call out his bullshit. He made it clear he hates my "group". I'm not going to allow him to directly or indirectly attack that group.

    He literally posted a "joke" on how to stir up the forum more and called Sly out for being okay with it.

    And all you had to do was either flag the post or send us a PM and we would be aware of it. Considering that I had removed 57 posts from the thread you are referring to it should be obvious that I'm trying to keep that thread on track and free from all the other insults and arguments.

    Please, I have deleted posts from both of you in the thread for personal attacks. Nether one of you will allow the other one to get the last word in. If one of you posts to or about the other one feels obligated to reply.

    Please, just stop. Both of you. Let it go. We are entering day 3 of multiple people bitching and hating on multiple people.
