Here is a comparison for last season FWIW http://bkref.com/tiny/VnR0D I wish I knew how to post the chart itself in here ....
“I do like the idea of Will and CJ , not necessarily being ‘point guards’ but being able to run an offense,” said Stotts. “I think they both handle the ball well enough. Last year, neither one of them was ready to do that and the improvement that they both made in a year, I think they’re both at a point where, if you have them both out there, we don’t have a point guard but we’ve got two playmakers." http://forwardcenter.net/summer-league-practice-notes-back-to-work/ Ok I can see how it could work as long as the team as a whole is prepared to help out which ever one is bringing the ball up the court. Stotts needs to have them prepared for it. Because they will be pressured.
Problem is these Euro league guys are rock stars in Spain but trade bait in the NBA. Louis Scola was MVP of the FIBA games at least twice yet he's not quite a max player in the NBA
Well, not saying it's gonna happen, but you'd have to accept him back if the team brought him over. When it comes to choosing between Ridinour and Blake I would rather have Udrih. He shoots 46% from the field and has way better numbers IMHO.
In all the years of the Session love fest that has occurred on this board, I have never bought in. But that was as a starter. I would love to get him in a sign and trade because I doubt he would takes the BAE. I hope Neil is looking into it. The problem is 9 players on the team make 3.6 or less....... but I am not sure that is enough. The one player that makes around the MLE is Lopez. No way we trade him. And I am not sure Sessions is that much better than the other vets we have talked about that warrants combining two players for him.
Milos Teodosic would be a great under-the-radar move. Spurs and Memphis offered him deals within the past few years. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hiGbfz0hhLg
I remember hearing that Rudy, Sergio and Nic used to hang out and play FIFA a bunch. I think they are cool.
If Chalmers isn't getting any good multi-year offers I wonder if he can be had with a cheap 2y contract with an opt-out after 1 like Collison had last year.
I know, but he is pretty good at attacking the basket. We need that too. Plus he has decent size, decent defender, and can pass. Again I never wanted him as a starter, but as a back up I think he is better than most. Guys like Vasques all got paid over the MLE. We are not going to get the perfect back up PG in our price range. I don't want a CJ clone, I would rather go after a PG who fits other needs.
You just know that Magnifier will immediately flipflop and be the status quo's biggest booster. Many creative ideas in this thread, which will now die.
