    For whatever reason, Batum never gave 100% for the Blazers and he would never have performed the way he has for his new team. Even though we have gotten nothing for him in the trade, we were going to lose him for nothing next summer anyway.

    Knowing that the other three starters were leaving, the best thing we could have done was keep Batum until the trade deadline. Without LMA, Wes, and RoLo, Batum would've had a bigger responsibility and have inflated/better stats like he does now in CHA. At that point, we can trade him. I hated what we did because we sold him when he was at his lowest trade value.

    This season (last season), Batums' FTM has tripled to 3.6 (1.2). Shed of Aldridge, he can play aggressively. We should have dumped Aldridge but not Batum.

    It's triple his last year amount! Let's see...He ranks 34th, so the average team has only one player with at least 3.6 FTM.
