Buddy Hield and his Oklahoma teammates finally starting making shots after halftime.

Hield scored all 19 of his points in the second half, when the 25th-ranked Sooners rallied with a big run in a 66-64 victory Saturday at No. 12 Baylor, which had won 13 straight at home.

Andrew Wiggins scores 17 to lead No. 8 Kansas past No. 24 Baylor

Defense and hustle have been the hallmarks of Kansas ever since Bill Self took over the program. Heck, they were a big part of it even before his arrival.

So, not surprisingly, Self was pleased that it was defense and hustle that triggered the defining run in the eighth-ranked Jayhawks' 78-68 victory over No. 24 Baylor on Monday night.

Ryan Spangler's13 2nd-half points help Oklahoma stop TCU

Oklahoma coach Lon Kruger is more concerned with results than how his team looks.

Good thing, because there was nothing pretty about the No. 25 Sooners' 77-69 win over Texas Christian on Wednesday night.

Andrew Wiggins, Kansas end any TCU upset hopes early

Andrew Wiggins wasn't around a year ago for one of the worst nights in Kansas basketball history.

The freshman guard heard stories from coach Bill Self, and took it upon himself to squash any TCU hopes of a repeat.

Wiggins scored 19 of his career-high 27 points in the first half and No. 8 Kansas answered last year's stunning loss by taking control early in a 91-69 victory over the Horned Frogs on Saturday night.

No. 16 Iowa State beats No. 22 Kansas State to end skid

Three straight losses and the distraction caused by the ongoing Bubu Palo saga left No. 16 Iowa State in desperate need of some good news.

A close win over a ranked opponent was a good place for the Cyclones to start.

Melvin Ejim scored 20 points and Iowa State beat No. 22 Kansas State 81-75 on Saturday to snap a three-game losing streak and get back to .500 in the Big 12.

Texas tops No. 24 Baylor for 5th win in row

Freshman guard Isaiah Taylor and the Texas Longhorns are floating high in the Big 12 -- and against ranked teams.

Taylor kept penetrating against slumping No. 24 Baylor, often using the glass to make shots, and scored a career-high 27 points in a 74-60 victory Saturday that gave the Longhorns their fifth straight win.

Andrew Wiggins scores career-best 29 as Kansas holds off Iowa State

Just minutes after Andrew Wiggins put No. 6 Kansas on his back, scoring six of his career-high 29 points in the defining moment of the game, Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg offered a glowing assessment of the star freshman.

"You can tell he's oozing with confidence," Hoiberg said Wednesday night after his 16th-ranked Cyclones lost 92-81, "and that's scary."

Georges Niang lifts No. 16 Iowa State past No. 23 Oklahoma

Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg gave rising freshman Monte Morris his first career start in an effort to spark the slumping Cyclones.

But it was the efforts of veteran contributors Georges Niang and Melvin Ejim that sparked No. 16 Iowa State to a crucial league win.

Niang scored a career-high 27 points, Ejim had 22 points with 16 rebounds and No. 16 Iowa State held off 23rd-ranked Oklahoma 81-75 on Saturday for just its second win in six games.
