i was rooting for the celtics last year in the finals.

and we will gladly take roy, hopefully he can get us #2!

okay, okay I think there were a few non-Celtics fans not rooting for the Lakers, but they were in the minority by far.

and yeah the Blazers future is so bright, they gotta wear shades

 

i think last year pierce defended roy for the majority of the game, and held him under 20.
most of our team can guard tony allen, wanna bet that outlaw scores more than him?
big baby, perkins, and powe are gonna be in foul trouble.
ray allen is gonna kill us, he always does.

 

Perkins and Big Baby in foul Trouble wouldn't be a news flash. Powe is quite good at playing hard but not fouling a lot.

Allen is really good at driving to the basket, it's not so easy to stop him this year, he's back to his explosive form prior to his injury.
Allen may not score a boatload, but it's the way he does it that ignites the 2nd unit.
so yeah Outlaw MAY outscore him.

 

I fail to see how the Celtics would have got Brandon Roy.

They wouldn't have.

Roy was picked #6 by Minny.

Then Boston probably drafts Rudy Gay at #7.

I will cheerfully concede that the Celtics are the favorites in this game. Dan Shaughnessy equating the Blazers to the Pacers? That was either a serious cheapshot, or the slurred rantings of a drunken loon.

He's third on that list behind Mike Felger and Bob Ryan. But he definitely wins the funny looking award.

 

If the Blazers win, I personally think the Celtics fans should have to wear drexlersdad's homoerotic Brandon Roy sig. That'd be a nice punishment.

 

LOL, this thread is fun. All I can say is, people everywhere are going to watch this game. Nasty fan bases just make it more entertaining.

I'm going to risk the wrath of my 1 year old getting up twice a night and ignore the sleep I get by going to bed very early in order to watch the C's thrash the Blazers.
