Bowen didn't get a T for the tangle up issue. He was playing Mr.Innocent, so he didn't receive a tech. I think he's trying to win an Oscar.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting NbaBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">vince carter didnt get ejected for a headbutt. that was just a technical. he got ejected for running at bowen and getting a second technical.</div> I know, I'm saying he should have when he headbutted Bowen. I don't think Bowen got a technical after Carter charged after him.

judging that the refs had time to think about it, I now change my position and say that they made the wrong desicion. To me it did not look like Carter wanted to fight, he just wanted to ask Bowen what was the matter with him doing that cheap leg thing.

Things would of escalated from their if they let the Vince stay in, Bowen would of gone at him again.

It was a dirty play, period. Bowen did the exact same thing to Carter last year, and I'm sure thats why Vince was furious this time around. I've heard from refs and coaches, that when boxing out a jump shooter you have to let him land first! Bruce Bowen clearly is defys this rule often and could get someone very hurt. Therefore he and anyone else who does this, should be given a shot foul and a technical free throw foul every time the player does it.
bowen is a dirty player...my least favorite player in the league. i think that thing he does is completely intentional, and obviously so does vince. ray allen called bowen a dirty player before...when someone as respected as much as ray comes out and says it, i think there is some validity to it if another player gets injured on that same kind of play with bowen, he should face some serious suspension time
It's riduculous how he plays, I think he is an excellent defensive player and it is one thign to stop your opponent's best scorer from scoring but to try to purposely try to injure them is blasphemous. David Stern turning his blind eye on this multiple times is agitating me. Somethign needs to be done, I'm glad many of you feel the same way and don't think that Bruce didn't do it accidently because its absolutely clear that he didn't. That was the exact reason the Raptors got screwed last year because the Raptors were rising like the Nets when Bruce Bowen injured Carter and Rose and Bosh also got injured in that same span, screwing yet another Raptor's season. Anyways, I'm glad Vince went after him. for once, I'd love to see Vince just kick his ass because he truly deserves it. Next time he's taking a jumpshot, someone should stick thier foot under his leg and hopefully he breaks his ankles. Yes, I wish that upon him for he has done it too many times. Just the thought of that makes me sick. How disgusting and low can you get? Someone could get seriously hurt over that, what the hell is he thinking.
No, he didn't but that same week when Carter got injured cause of Bowen Rose badly injured his hand and Bosh sprained his ankle in one of the most important stretches of the season. So, bad luck on the Raptors half but we would have won more games had Carter still been playing and Bowen hadn't done that cheapness stint.
