<div class="quote_poster">Quoting S.Livingston14:</div><div class="quote_post">Kevin Garnett isn't from Chicago he just lived there for the last two years of his high-school career. He was actually born in South Carolina, then moved their because his high-school was racist, and wasn't exposing him enough. And that little arrest controversy. I guees you could consider Curry from Chi-Town. Although he is from a tiny suburb south of Chicago; Calumet City. Did you know that Q-Rich, D-Miles, and Curry all played in the same rec league as kids?</div> Oh I didn't know that Garnett wasn't originally from Chicago and I didn't know about Q-Rich and co. were tight since their childhood
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BODY_COUNT:</div><div class="quote_post">just because you played against him doesnt mean he's from philly, he always reps NYC</div> Your right. But he is always in town during the summer with AO. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Skip To My Lou Name: Rafer Alston aka Skip To My Lou Hometown: South Jamaica Queens, NY Birthday: July 26th, 1976 Height: 6'2" Weight: 173 lbs.</div> Link: http://www.insidehoops.com/streetballers.shtml

I wish someone would do NYC because the list would be never ending, but after the updates to the Philly list, I think we have the lead.
notmuchgame. I don't believe it was Prince who played at Compton Dominguez, it was Tyson Chandler, unless they both played there. That would have been a good duo.

Another name (altho not notable) I forgot to mention is Jamal Sampson (He's on the Bobcats now). He played at Mater Dei with Cedric Bozeman...now that's a duo
Trevor Ariza, the rookie for the Knicks played for Westchester HS in LA. He also went to UCLA and got drafted in the 2nd round as a freshman out of college. Pretty good player. We needed him this year
Now i dont even think its a contest, its gotta be NY. But i think one that deserves atleast some reckognition is Denver, Co. Theres a couple old school players and then theres a guy who was chicagos number one draft pick some 20 years ago(forget his name) Chauncey Billupsguys a legend around here Rodney White Eddie Gill

NYC has quantity, but Philly has quality. Sheed, Rip, Kobe, and let's not forget, the best player of all time: Wilt. Wasn't Shaq born in Louisiana? It's kinda like nike and adidas. NYC being Nike Philly being Adidas (I still wear nike's though, i guess that makes my point worthless) Nike has like 100+. But Adidas has last years mvp. a player that has as many total trophys as i do fingers and toes (Duncan) and a scoring leader two years in a row. I'm gonna be biased and say Philly. But I understand why people would say NYC
