Grandmother Rushes a 3-year-old to the Hospital – but Gets Pulled Over!
    Posted on April 29, 2024

In Bartlesville, Oklahoma, a 53-year-old grandmother was attempting to rush her 3-year-old granddaughter to the hospital emergency room, but on the way was pulled over by a Bartlesville Police Officer, who essentially yanked her out of the car, put her in handcuffs, put her in the rear of the police car, and arrested her. Later, the police chief apologized to the community for the way his officer treated the woman.

Cops Ask Woman to Kick-in her Ex-Boyfriend’s Front Door! ALL HELL Breaks Loose

    Posted on May 1, 2024

In Elyria, Ohio, cops encouraged a woman to kick in her ex-boyfriend’s front door, so that she could get her belongings inside. They did not have a warrant. But they followed her inside the man’s house anyways, and proceeded to walk upstairs and surprise him as he got out of the shower. Then they tased him multiple times, arrested him, and charged him with multiple felonies. But then he got a lawyer, and the lawyer reviewed the body cam footage.

By the way, this is the same police department that went viral for the huge SWAT raid where they used the flash bangs against the innocent mom and baby inside. Media report from that here.

    Media report here.

Senior Airman Roger Fortson was home alone in his off-base apartment causing no trouble and FaceTiming with a woman when a Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputy, responding to the wrong address for a disturbance, broke through his door and fatally shot him Friday, an attorney for the airman’s family said Wednesday.

Ben Crump, a civil rights attorney hired by Fortson’s family, detailed the account in a news release, which was also posted on Twitter Wednesday, asking for transparency and the immediate release of body camera footage of the incident.

Fortson, 23, was shot six times, said Crump, who attributed his account of the shooting to the woman, a witness who the airman had been FaceTiming with during the incident.

According to that woman, Crump said, Fortson heard a knock on his door, and when he asked who it was didn’t get a response. A few minutes later, there was a “very aggressive knock,” but Fortson didn’t see anyone when he looked out the peephole.

“Concerned, he did what any other law-abiding citizen would do and retrieved his legally-owned gun,” Crump said.

As Fortson walked back to his living room, “police burst through the door” and shot him six times, Crump said, adding that the witness said they saw Fortson on the ground saying, “I can’t breathe.”

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy encountered Fortson with a gun while responding to a disturbance around 4:30 p.m. local time Friday at an apartment located at 319 Racetrack Road NW in Fort Walton Beach, just several miles from Hurlburt Field, where Fortson served as a gunner on the AC-130J Ghostrider in the 4th Special Operations Squadron.

Fortson died at a local hospital, officials said.

Few other details have been released about the shooting, including the type of disturbance the sheriff’s office was responding to. The office late Tuesday declined to release body camera footage, an incident report and other recordings related to the shooting to Air Force Times, citing an ongoing investigation.

According to an unverified audio recording of a dispatch call posted on Facebook, police received a disturbance call related to a male and female and that it was called in by an apartment complex’s leasing office. The recording refers to a Black male who had been shot “multiple” times in the chest.

Fortson’s apartment complex declined to comment to Air Force Times.

The deputy who shot Fortson, who has not been identified, has been placed on paid administrative leave and Okaloosa Sheriff Eric Aden said Wednesday afternoon that he has asked the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to handle the investigation into the matter.

While he asked for the “community’s patience,” Crump demanded “immediate answers.”

“The circumstances surrounding Roger’s death raise serious questions that demand immediate answers from authorities, especially considering the alarming witness statement that the police entered the wrong apartment. The narrative released by law enforcement, which falsely suggests that Roger posed a threat, is deeply troubling and inconsistent with the details provided by that witness: Roger was home alone, causing no disturbance, when his life was tragically cut short by law enforcement,” Crump said in a statement.

Crump could not be immediately reached for comment. He is a well-known civil rights attorney who has represented families in high-profile cases involving Black people killed by law enforcement, including George Floyd, Michael Brown and Breonna Taylor.

Hurlburt Field has said in social media posts that the base is supporting Fortson’s family and offering assistance to grieving airmen.

The Okaloosa Sheriff’s Office faced scrutiny last year after a deputy mistook a falling acorn striking his patrol vehicle for a gun shot and fired at his SUV while a suspect sat inside restrained. According to an internal investigation, Deputy Jesse Hernandez believed the shot came from inside his vehicle. The suspect, who is Black, was uninjured in the shooting. The sheriff’s office determined Hernandez’ use of force was not reasonable and he resigned in November.

Heard an off duty cop proudly explaining to a guy the other day that police never pull anybody over for "no reason".

During a discussion about politics and policy the guy (black guy) was asking the off duty officer (mixed) about how police are trained for specific situations and was using police pulling people over seemingly for no legitimate reason when he was interrupted...

Police officer proudly "There are a thousand reasons I can find to pull you over with cause... Your tire touches the white line, visible exhaust first thing in the morning..." And he went on...

After about 2 or 3 minutes of this explanation the guy just said "nevermind" and changed the subject. Clearly the conversation was going nowhere. And this off duty officer is otherwise a very level headed, understated and respectful guy. If anybody was going to be a "good cop" it would be this guy.

It was kind of eye opening actually. If they can violate your day but still follow the letter of the law they are happy to do it. In fact, proud to do it. You could see how proud he was about it.

It was completely lost on him that you would still be pulling somebody over for no reason if you had to find some other excuse like visible exhaust first thing in the morning.

And if shit goes bad because of that interaction and somebody gets hurt they will have each other's backs because they "had a reason" to harass that person.

Cops KILL Man for Driving ATV in Neighbor’s Yard!
    Posted on May 28, 2024
A federal lawsuit was filed after a man was shot and killed by a Princeton (West Virginia) Police Officer inside his own house, following allegations from his neighbor that he had been riding his ATV through the neighbor’s yard. The officers were captured on bodycam footage engaging in an investigation within the curtilage of the man’s yard, and ultimately kicking in the door and shooting him. The officer who shot and killed the man claimed that the man had a baseball bat and refused to drop it. Conveniently however, he wasn’t wearing a bodycam, despite a department policy mandating that he do so. Some of the shooting was captured on another officer’s bodycam. It was recently released by the family’s lawyers.

Gang of Cops Bully & Arrest 17-year-old Girl on the Drive Home From School

    Posted on June 10, 2024

This footage was documented by The Real News Network in a great video, where they interviewed the family involved. It’s a perfect illustration of these “gangs” of drug task force type cops, who like to wear backward ball caps, cover their bodies with tattoos, and otherwise attempt to NOT look like cops. Often that causes problems when they go to do cop things, like pull people over for traffic stops. This footage shows just one instance of that. Then, when they don’t find what they were looking for, they often resort to lying and fabricating charges.

“Anabolic” Cop Pulls Man From Car AFTER Stop was Over

    Posted on June 13, 2024

This video shows a very recent police interaction that occurred in Barbour County, West Virginia. It shows Barbour County Sheriff’s Deputy Christian Mayle violently pulling a man named Vince out of a car. Vince is a nurse and was on his way to the nursing home where he works. His longtime girlfriend was driving him. They were pulled over on an allegation of the car going “left of center.” The traffic stop actually ended and a warning citation was issued to the girlfriend/driver. But then, suddenly Deputy Mayle ordered both occupants out of the vehicle. When Vince questioned his authority to do so, the officer cited Pennsylvania v. Mimms and quickly lost his temper, macing Vince and pulling him violently from the car.

Guy Posted About Local Cops on Facebook – They Arrest Him For it!

    Posted on June 21, 2024

Paul O’Brien, who lives in Grafton, West Virginia, observed a Taylor County Sheriff’s Deputy running a speed trap across the road from his residence. He posted on Facebook about it, joking that he WISHED he had an M-80 (firecracker) so that he could set it off and cause the deputy to have a heart attack. In the same post, he criticized the department for the deaths of three individuals over the years. Deputy Cody Mayle of the TCSD then paid Paul a visit at his home. He had no warrant, but rather just wanted to “talk.”

When Paul decided he didn’t want to talk with Deputy Mayle, Deputy Mayle suddenly grabbed him and arrested him. Paul spent two nights in jail. Around three months later, the frivolous charge of “obstruction” was dropped, since it was admittedly frivolous, according to the prosecutor. Paul submitted a complaint to the department, but heard nothing back.

This is Deputy Cody Mayle, who is seen on bodycam laughing as soon as Paul was thrown in the holding cell:

My last West Virginia based video coincidentally, was from Barbour County, which is only the next county over, and that deputy also has the same last name – Mayle. Here’s a link to that video. I’ll have more information soon about that situation…

This is the location of the incident:

City Pays $250,000 for Abusing Elderly Man for Looking at a Police Car

    Posted on July 3, 2024

A 70 year old man in Ada County, Idaho was arrested by police officers at a police station, after he dared to look into a police cruiser window. The charges were later dismissed. He filed a lawsuit, which just settled for $250,000, along with mandatory additional training for sheriff’s deputies in that county.

Here’s Sherriff Matt Clifford’s troubling statement, as discussed in the video:

Earlier this week, we settled a lawsuit with Mr. Heikkola, stemming from an incident in January 2023. It wasn’t our best day. It is the expectation that Ada County deputies perform to the best of their abilities every day — while keeping people’s constitutional rights in the forefront of their minds, while also keeping our community safe.

For anyone to claim we are trampling on someone’s constitutional rights simply isn’t true. The reality is, we have hundreds of contacts every day with people of all different backgrounds, religions, ethnicities and socioeconomic standings. While the vast majority of those interactions go well, occasionally we fumble and miss the mark.

Part of the settlement was to include additional constitutional policing training; fortunately, we had already implemented this training prior to the settlement. We will now also include a scenario similar to Mr. Heikkola’s in our scenario-based training. We are one of few law enforcement agencies across the country with routine built-in training time. Every patrol deputy receives 9.5 training hours per month. These blocks of training include topics such as firearms training, scenario-based training, legal updates, EVOC, de-escalation techniques, arrest and control techniques, CPR and first aid, and more.

Part of our culture at the Ada County Sheriff’s Office is to always strive to be better – and learning from this incident will help us to do just that.

    – Matt Clifford, Ada County Sheriff

Country Singer Writes Song About Arrest by Idiot Cop | Charges now Dropped

    Posted on July 11, 2024

This 18 year old country music singer from Montana was pulled over for speeding by a state trooper who is looking for reasons to accuse him of driving intoxicated. Even though he blew a 0.0 showing he had no alcohol in his system, and even though he did all the stupid human tricks he was asked to do, and even though he was 100% polite and cooperative with the officer, he was still wrongfully arrested and charged. A blood test taken after the arrest showed what any rational police officers should have known: that the kid was completely sober. Yet this happened to him. He wrote a song about it.

The State Police in a very rural county adjacent to mine have been hit with multiple criminal and civil cases in the last few months.

The worst was a wrongful death claim. They tried to pull someone over for a problem with their license plate. Apparently the driver and passenger had probation violations and fled. The police used a PIT maneuver to smash the car into the tree.

The driver eventually died ... after they let him there for four hours before calling EMTs. The passenger has minor injuries but for some reason was life-flighted to a hospital 60 miles away rather than taken to the hospital 10 miles away. They weren't even given transportation home and had to walk for hours just to get to the home of someone they knew.

In another case, the police pulled over a woman close to 60 who runs an animal rescue in the area. She was delivering hay to another rescue at night and it was very foggy, so she was driving slowly.

The police did a U-turn in the middle of one of the county's small towns and pulled her over for a busted tail light. Then the trooper arrested the woman on suspicion of being on meth, cuffed her and took her to the hospital, where her bloodwork came back negative. At the hospital, the trooper got into a physical altercation with the woman's son.

On top of that, it turned out all her lights were operating properly. There wasn't a busted tail light at all.

The charges were dropped and the trooper's case for false arrest and defamation has just started in federal court, because, while her charges were dropped, they still were published in the county newspaper with her name and the drug charges even though she turned out clean.

There've been a few other policing irregularities over the last few years and the county is now being investigated and the findings are being reported on a podcast from someone that lives in another state. I have several friends in law enforcement and the judiciary and they talk about this county being completely corrupt.

I forgot to mention, when the woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of meth, I got a little curious and Googled their arrest reports for that week.

That was one of two arrests in a five-day span. The other arrest? It happened to be for the exact same thing.

What are the odds? In a county of just 80,000 people and the fourth-largest county by area in the state, that the State Police just happened to make traffic stops on consecutive days and end up arresting the driver for meth.
