Griffin/love/cousins/Harden multiple people the last 8 years have had AS appearances without a winning record and thats just in the west. Its been about 7 years, griffins rookie year, when the having to win to be an AS seem to get tossed out the window.
How many of those teams were way worse than widely predicted? That quickly pushes things into The Exception territory.
You should add prediction and then actual to your posts. Hard to scroll and see what the actual numbers were.
Whenever we lose the game and Lillard has big stats, it verifies George Karl's theory for why we lose a lot. This thread does a good job at making Karl look right.
Here is where I get doubled up on the ignore list. I do. I grew up moving back and forth as a kid. Grew up watching CLyde And Gary come to life. The train trips were awesome when my dad here in Ptown would take us up to a Sonics game. And that Sonics Team once they got Detlef was something serious and if it weren't for Jordan... ( half the league during his tenure has an.. "if it weren't for Jordan clause", I know). Portland too. once Buck came, they were a contender for several years. To me, basketball was never better than in the late 80's early 90's when both teams were at the top tier in the league. 91' in particular was an epic season. The Bulls were just the best ever.
I gave that stat line before the game started. I give the game stat line after the game is over. I need to post last nights and the Warriors game stat line sometime at work today. Isn't every post time stamped?
Dame had 19 points, 8 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and 3 turnovers in 36 minutes in a close loss against Golden State(01/29/17.) Dame was a -2. 6-6 on the FU Tour. 3-1 since losing to Philadelphia.
Dame had 27 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 turnover in 31 minutes in a blowout win against Charlotte(01/31/17.) Dame was a +15. 7-6 on the FU Tour. 4-1 since losing to Philadelphia.
How about one color for predictions and another color for results? I too have the same boneheaded issues(D, you are not a bonehead, lol) I miss dates all the time. Ive probably tried to debate more than one member who is long gone based on old threads being bumped and my blind ass not paying attention. lol.
How about something like this maybe?? When I am making a prediction I will post like this; 22 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block against Charlotte tonight. When I am posting the results of a game I will post like this; Dame had 27 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 turnover in 31 minutes in a blowout win against Charlotte(01/31/17.) Dame was a +15. 7-6 on the FU Tour. 4-1 since losing to Philadelphia. Looks good right?
Why make it so complicated? The outcome is clear, but the prediction is still ambiguous on it's own. Prediction: XXX Outcome: YYY That doesn't require any extra effort on your part and can't possibly be confusing. Unless you want it to be confusing, which sure seems to be the case throughout the thread.
