You may want DeSantis but the primaries can be altered to the Republican agenda. I agree Trump should be mothballed due to his insurrection, attempted bribes and overall repulsive personality. DeSantis may be your choice but the party likes those that counter all Democratic agendas and they may place their puppet in the race. Let us both hope Hawley, Brooks, Graham, Connolly or other unsuitable candidates or old white men are not the pick. Also, The Democrat party is still viable with their choice in three years, nine months. Biden will be too old and Harris is not the prime candidate. I wish John Fetterman (Pa. Lt. Governor) is a choice. He is my choice, if available.

Sure, DeSantis is telling folks to come and party. I wonder how many of those who love him are Black and/or Latinx? Because he outsourced vaccine to a store (that just happened to donate $200,000 to his PAC) that is located almost entirely in well to do white neighborhoods. Black and Latinx Floridians are having to travel up to 2 hours by bus to get a vaccine, if they can, because DeSantis is prioritizing donors and rich white communities.

DeSantis is lobbying for return of cruise ships. Remember how well that worked in a pandemic? Florida passed a law prohibiting any cruise that docks in the state from requiring passengers be vaccinated.
