    That's my understanding...he can't pardon anyone ever again which in itself is worth it. This includes his family members and lawyers or cabinet members...I believe if he gets impeached by the Senate he'll lose his secret service protection perks as well

    Actually I think he can still pardon, just not as it relates to the reasons for impeachment. That would change if the senate were to also impeach him. I could be wrong.

    He will do something like "predate" the pardons so it appears he made them before he was impeached

    I don't see why he can't pardon still.

    He may try to self-pardon, although that would have nothing to do with either impeachment or removal by the Senate.

    Also, a self-pardon would be tossed by the courts so fast it would make your head spin. If SCOTUS allowed it, then any president could do anything, self-pardon, and get away with it. That is antithetical to both our laws and Constitution. It would never pass constitutional muster.

    There aren’t any righties worth debating anymore. Not until a new Republican Party is created. This one? Not only is it on the verge of death but anyone still part of it is irrelevant and not worth “debating”.

    I saw the news and McConnell will start the senate version after the inauguration. I think that is smart. The Trump world can wait until Mr. Biden is officially our president. The splinter factions would not get a hero hours before Mr. Biden enters the office. All we need is efficient modern riot warfare tactics deployed by UN BIASED military and other law enforcement.
    My wish is to strip Trump of medical and pension benefits & expensive secret service protection while he lives and attends the many lawsuits before him.
