I guess you'd have to include Trump and Nixon in that list.

It’s absolutely incredible how insane AOC has made the Republicans. I love it. If this is the response from them, then I’m all in on her platform.

I think her plan is quite fun.
I look forward to some answers.
Here is a quick list that has come to me in a short time.

Assuming we use no fossil fuel, specifically, Gasoline, diesel, and the JPs.

How will we run Tractors? Very hard to grow crops in large field without their help.
How will we get an airplane to fly?
What will we power ships? Return to the days of Sail?
Lately it has been cold enough, that I must use wood to heat the house. The Heat pump won't keep up. Will this be permissible?
I heard nothing about Nuclear Power. Is that not part of the replacement plan?

When does the culling begin? We can't possible feed the whole gang without some portable power!

I a) think this is awesome. If only there were more facts involved. I loved the delivery.
I b) think she should be careful about going on tirades she doesn't know much about, because she didn't hammer the President and "Big Oil" there, she hammered Planned Parenthood and the ACLU. I don't think she realized it.
I c) think that it's pretty cool that Congresspeople are going after campaign finance reform. However, isn't she in her seat right now as a poster child for how money and establishment don't win elections? Does she not remember that one of the “big corporate funders” of the Crowley campaign was End Citizens United, the PAC working to “end Big Money in politics and fix our rigged political system.”?

I used to sell standby generators sets to the State of Oregon Dept. of Emergency Services and one year I was taken back when the PA took me for a tour of a few warehouses and I noticed that there were probably
150 or so sets of 12.5 to 20KW gen sets that have been stocked piled and some were 10 years old, at least.
I asked why he was putting out a bid for another 25 or so and I'll never forget his answer "if I don't spend my budgetary fiscal Dept. funds, I will lose some next year".
Rather than save the State a few bucks he was wanting to stockpile equipment at tax payers expense.
I know what you're thinking, did I go after the bid/sale? Actually I didn't and felt good about it. I eventually brought it up to a guy that replaced the buyer that retired and he too was taken back at his approach with procurement of equipment. The State eventually auctioned 0ff some many of the gen sets at what appeared to be pennies on the dollar. The new PA told me there was zero control over many of the department procurement programs and as long as you stayed within budget from year to year you got your increase without inventory audits and such. I was surprise at PA would tell me that.

    Ha!
Yeah, back in my earliest days with IBM in Portland. The end of the fiscal year sort of made the year for some of the Salesmen of Office Products.
All the State and City government offices cleaned out their funds, buying new IBM Typewriters. Holy hell, every desk had to have a new Selectric.

That always made me cringe but the Sales guys loved it.

I spent 35 years in the public sector and this type of thinking drove me up a wall. Early on in management I was so proud to stay under budget but finally got tired of getting my ass chewed for leaving money on the table. One year I spent 98.9% of a $3.6M budget and STILL got my ass chewed for not spending it all. We too often couldn’t “afford” what we needed but we sure could afford the extraneous crap. And this is why I no longer vote for anymore tax measures/increases.......

My son has one of those. Cute little bugger, great for camp fire wood.
I put 3 cord of wood in my woodshed last summer, use a 32" bar Jonserud and 18" Echo to get her done. Sort of a two for one job, clean of the woods here and store firewood for winter. I would still be working at it with the cute little bugger.

There's a practice that needs to be corrected. I'd like to see a politician run on that as part of his platform. There's a lot of money wasted in that practice.

Go to St. Louis or Chicago. You'd be amazed at how bad their roads are, at least as bad as the worst roads in Oregon.
I remember being in Alabama and seeing a pot hole so big that if you drove thru it you'd break an axle or something. Imagine hitting that pothole in the dark. Gotta admit, though, that Alabama's highways are pretty good.
