Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread - The crowd looks crap compared to FIFA's lol. It's not really a big issue for me though. - Dribbling is fluid (a lot like FIFA in terms of the player response and reaction time though), but realistic
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread Uh oh, i've run into a little wall. I've copied everything onto my PES (the option files) but for some reason nothings changed (the names, the league titles, etc.) What did i do wrong? :S
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread Gonna make the MLS league later on when i'm done this game. i'm think 2-3 hours, and this game will be really good. FIFA should really have an edit mode.
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. I spent a good 2 1/2 hours downloading option files and copying them (1 by 1, might i add), searched through for another hour finding out how to make it work, only to find out that it was for the UK version. FUCK. Looks like i gotta wait for a North American option file to come out .
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread Alright, after playing the game for around 10 hours (no class today), and comparing the two, i've come to this conclusion: FIFA: 7.5/10 (without all of their paid users rating it "zOMG 10/10!!1!1!!" PES w/o option file: 6.5/10 PES with option file 8.5/10 It takes a lot of work, yes, but when its all finished and edited, this game is THAT much better than FIFA. The only problem is finding North American option files. Most are EU or UK and won't work on our American PS3/PES game. yes, its that good.
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread Nice, I'll be getting it, of course. They will release the updates soon, I'm sure M Two One will know where to look but he rarely posts anymore.
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread Niiiiice. I've looked everywhere, but nothing so far. Right now i'm just playing a temporary master league which is awesome (even w/o the names and licensing, but that'll make it better).
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread Good news, Ronan. While we wait for M Two One and his response, I found a PES 2010 Option file! I've tried it, and it's really. Link Try that out when you buy the game. It has all the emblems, transfer, removed duplicates, and real names etc, but it doesn't have the Bundesliga (which we can create anyways), Championship, and MLS. In all fairness though, no one ever makes MLS teams (for UK, EU or NA files). Can you tell me if you find any North American option files that has the championship, bundesliga, and MLS? If anything, I can TRY to make them, buuuuuuut i'll give it a week or two before i try haha. I know people are make North American-compatible PES 2010 option files right now, so i'll see what they come up with first. Hope that link helps brah.
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread Yeah it is. Apparently you can try pesfan.com to try and find an american file for say, 360?
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread Ronan, do you know any NA- option files with the championship and/or bundesliga in it? It'd be nice to have those. I could give 2 shit about the MLS lol.
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread I'm still looking around. I'll tell you when I find something, don't worry.
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread Im right here, i just got a gamefly account to rent the game so i gotta wait a couple days for it to get in.... I bought fifa the day it came out and i liked it alot, but as I started playing Manager Mode i got really frustrated and starting seeing so many bugs it was crazy...on other fifa forums they have put together a list of like 84 bugs just in MM and i have like 40 of those, so that really sucks, I hope PES is good and i like the fact that they will have a lot of romanian teams in it But i must ask, what is this option file you talk of? is it like a patch? is it easy to install? I will have more Q's about this when i get the game
Re: The FIFA/PES 2010 Thread It's essentially what makes PES go from ok to great. Basically, you can do all the editing yourself, but it's a helluva a lot of work so others have made option files editing the emblems, creating leagues and editing players. And Manager mode sucks, its one of the main reasons why I converted from FIFA to PES.
