man i hope we can get Gasol so that we can get rid of Malik Allen, Mike Sweetney, and Viktor Khryapa. I am tired of Skiles and his silly rotations. This is y we lose a lot of games is because of him. NO to trading Luol Deng, Ben Gordon, and Kirk Hinrich Kirk Hinrich Ben Gordon Luol Deng Pau Gasol Ben Wallace P.J. Brown, Chris Duhon, Viktor Khryapa, Malik Allen or Mike Sweetney 2007 option from NYK, our 2009 pick and all our second rounders from 07-09 and cash for Pau Gasol, Brian Cardinal, and Lawerence Roberts. To me thats a lot for Pau Gasol and this might just b wuts going to happen. Something is just 2 quiet. I know 4 a fact Paxson is not going to trade Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon, and Luol Deng, and for the fact that he is taking a risk till the deadline to c if he can get Gasol is just something u have 2 think about while guys like ely(a player we could have used) r being traded. id like 2 keep du but yall know. Memphis's team Chris Duhon Viktor Khryapa Rudy Gay Mike Miller Hakkim Warrick Dantnay Jones Memphis pick option from the bulls Kyle Lowry Alexander Johnson 3 second rounders is a good looking team of young players 4 someone looking to buy a team to start off with.
Steven A. Smith was on sports center today, and said the most likely trade to be pulled off before the deadline is Gasol to Chicago.
im having one those feelings again remember my feelings r not always true but its worth looking at. I post this n another forum site but wut interests me is the fact that usually when someone wants out they usually sit on the bench until they are traded or waived. One thing is that Pau Gasol is still playing. Is it because they r n need to get rid of him b4 the deadline so playing him will rise his worth since he coming from an injury and would rather not let him sit on the bench and no 1 wants to take a gamble on him until after the deadline in the offseason because hes coming from an injury, wanted to be traded, only an all-star once, and has gone months without playing, and has a big contract. . i dont know but it has me thinking that Gasol no matter how bad the deal is is going to b traded b4 the deadline. Gasol has said he wants to play 4 a contender and he has expressed interest n us already so we have a bit of an edge over a lot of other teams n getting him. No one thinking about becoming an owner of a team wants to come 2 a team while a franchise player wants out and no deal came b4 the deadline. To me, the offseason doesnt make the trade more likely 4 the fact that the draft is only getting closer and while some teams get wut pick there is im sure boston if they find out they have the #1 pick they might just not trade 4 Pau Gasol if Durant, Oden, or Wright r n it. Its different trading the pick now while Boston or any other team doesnt know they have #1 pick who could easily have a number 5 pick since they dont know yet. Could Boston just b saying there going to trade Al Jefferson so that his numbers will go up like when they said there were going to trade him 4 AI? Also Chicago has a 9th pick, and teams like atlanta, portland, seattle could easily catch up 2 nyk. Also wut expiring contract does Boston have this year, Theo has another year b4 he is an expiring? Juse my opinions yall just trying to b hopefully that getting Gasol without losing a core player is possible lol.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Chicago Bulls' pursuit of Memphis Grizzlies center Pau Gasol promises to push against Thursday's trade deadline when Bulls general manager John Paxson will be faced with one of the toughest decisions he's had to make on the job: Does he include Luol Deng in a deal for the Memphis star? The way it looks now, league sources say, Paxson, who has reshaped the Bulls with so much young talent, will keep his 6-foot-9 forward. Deng has been terrific this season for Chicago, averaging 18.6 points a game on 52.3-percent shooting. He's been even better in the last month. Also, he is just 21 years old. </div> Read more...
On TNT yesterday, they said the Bulls are pulling for Gasol but Paxson said that he won't package Deng and Gordon together. It'll be either one on. So either Deng/Nocioni or Gordon/Nocioni.

i dont want to trade Hinrich, Deng, or Gordon 4 Gasol. Deng is our best player. Would u tell Toronto to trade Chris Bosh 4 Pau Gasol? No Dengs numbers are not as high as Bosh's is but Deng is our second scorer on our team instead first. i like Gordon he is also our best clutch player and our only shooting guard that can shoot he is not going to b traded. The trade i c happening is a similiar trade as Nugget and Philly Iverson for Andre Miller, Joe Smith, and picks Pau Gasol and Brian Cardianal for Chris Duhon, P.J. Brown, Viktor Khryapa, Malik Allen or Mike Sweetney, our 2007 pick 1st rd, our 2009 pick 1st round, 07-09 second rounders + cash. Believe me Pau Gasol is going to b trade by the deadline. Kirk Hinrich vs Devin Harris Ben Gordon vs Jason Terry Luol Deng vs Josh Howard Pau Gasol vs Dirk Nowitzki Ben Wallace vs Erick Dampier With us having a line-up of this we will go all the way. With a post-player we will get more rebounds and our players improve-Kirk Hinrich will get more assists do to the fact that we r not a jump shooting team any more, Gordon and Luol Deng's fg% will go up. Deng's fg% is already high at .522 so add a post-player to this team. Wallace will do a lot better because he is a help defender. Overall, our defense will go up we are not a small team also. The league does not want to c the Bulls succeed which is y they are the only ones saying getting rid of 2 core players is going to help us. They dont even wut as n the all-star nor did anyone have anything good 2 say about Gordon or Thomas on Saturday. And yet if this trade happens, the league will be shamed because none of our players made the all-star team and we will b considered the top 5 team in the league.

^^^ Nocioni is expected to play Tuesday against the Hawks. I'm not positive but that makes him tradeable.
I dont think memphis is stupid enough, or desperate enough to give up their franchise player for nothing. Memphis knows the Bulls are absolutely desperate for a scoring big, and they can hold out talks until they get gordon or deng. At worst if they dont get the trade, gasol can finish out the season on a losing team and hopefully get durant or oden. If the Bulls were smart they would give up gordon in a trade. Gasol helps this team out SO much more than having Gordon and no Gasol. Thats not to say that the bulls shouldnt try to make a trade without breaking up their young nucleus, but i just dont understand why they would give gasol up for nothing when the bulls have so much young talent.
Gordon Wants A Low-Post Scorer <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">But Gordon's answer when asked if adding a low-post scorer before Thursday's trade deadline would help was telling as the Bulls prepare to make their stretch run. "Just the way this team is set up, the load is on the guards," Gordon said. "We rely so much on our draw-and-kick game. It's tough sometimes when we can't go down [to the post] consistently. We have guys who can score, who can pick-and-pop. But we don't have anybody who can go down there five, six times in a row and get something. "Adding a low-post scorer makes us that much better. It makes the game easier for our perimeter guys and for Ben Wallace to get on the boards. It would do nothing but help us." Little has changed since media night in October, when general manager John Paxson openly acknowledged the team lacked size and interior scoring. It's why Paxson continues to work the phones in case Memphis doesn't drastically lower its price for Pau Gasol by Thursday. With expiring contracts and draft picks, Paxson has the resources to make a deal for a second-tier big man. The question, of course, is whether it's the right deal.</div> http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baske...ack=1&cset=true
The Bulls originally wanted Melvin Ely more then Gasol because of the asking price from what I've heard from the Chicago Tribune.
<div class="quote_poster">M Two One Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">The Bulls originally wanted Melvin Ely more then Gasol because of the asking price from what I've heard from the Chicago Tribune.</div> Wut. Oh well. Mayb trade San Antonio for the rights to Luis Scola lol. Or try and get Sean May from the Bobcats. Those r the only 2 post-players we can really get if Gasol is out of the question.
One more day. Should be interesting if either Chicago or Memphis get desperate and give more or willing to accept less for Gasol.
