Are you referring to this post? Did you read the part when I said "It maybe genetic; but it isn't a generalized "Self" like you mentioned". Also, I referred to the choice being made once one realizes they are gay. Just as one would realize their views best fit a Republican view. They choose the life they live after they realize who they are. Being gay, then migrating to gay communities is the choice. Do you get it now?
Dude I never said it was a fucking choice man! I said the lifestyle is the choice. Entirely different! Read my post above! OMG, I forgot how hard it is to discuss things you disagree with. Hahahaha
In these posts, you seem to be saying that being gay is a choice. If that's not what you're saying, then good.
I think it's "gay lifestyle" to brag on a message board about having sex with an NBA player. But that's me. Anyhow, this WikiPedia page talks about the genetics of homosexuality. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biology_and_sexual_orientation I have no doubt it's biological. The only environmental thing about homosexuality is that many fell forced to hide it and lie about their true nature.
Okay this was a stupid post and I apologize for saying this. Let my emotions get the better of me. The other wasn't intended to be what you thought; which I clearly explained. Forgive me?
But there is no gay lifestyle. Some are single, some are married, some in open relationships, some live in cities, some live in the country, some have sex, some don't, some work in the arts, some work in corporation, some are teenagers, some are senior citizens. Do you understand how it is offensive and ultimately destructive to say there is a "gay lifestyle" that people choose?
Being a Blazerfan is a type of lifestyle too. And they have just as many differences in fans as the ones you've mentioned.
See I disagree. And how my disagreement is made; is when the Rose Garden crowd unit together and root for their team. Yes there are different opinions; but they share the same main value. That is Blazer success. Now let's go into a place called "Koreatown". Majority of the Koreans all have "different views on certain topics" but they all share the same views about their culture; which is why they choose to live in a area that is filled with their culture. But if you take offense about it being a lifestyle; then I will just agree to disagree then..
Another definition of gay lifestyle. Gay fellow marries a woman, has kids, acts straight. That's not gay lifestyle. He comes out, leaves his wife, moves in with his boyfriend. That's gay lifestyle.
I'm not "seeking out" your posts. I'm reading a thread. You're posting it in. Just yor odd definition switch of the word lifestlye is...amusing, I guess.
While I lean the way of being gay is not learned or developed, I still haven't completely decided. That being said, I think the most important thing a child can have is loving parents. Is a child better in a home where a man and woman fight all the time better than with two men or two women in a loving environment? No I do think it's very important for a child to have both a male and female role model however. But that doesn't need to be "mom and dad"
"Lifestyle" is totally irrelevant in this matter. It's 2012 and many GOP's continue to believe that gay/lesbian people chose to be that way. "It's not God's way." The party is about 60 years out of touch.
