As sub par as the Blazers played last night, and they still had a chance to pull it out. On one hand, it was kind of amazing. On the other, it's a good sign. They just need to put a complete game together Friday and the series is ours. They'd better, because Houston will be fighting for their lives, and the aggressive team will get the calls.
We did come out gunning. Lillard made his first three shots including two threes and we took a 21-17 lead. I disagree that they didn't care. They care more than we do. They have a lot more on the line that us fans do.
Ya'll gonna be a wreck? I gotta do a show during the game. Yeah... I may not be totally focused. LOL. Nah, but still.
Yep they better. Gives me some angst knowing that DHoward says he knows something none of us do and that the series will go back to Houston. Are we going to suddenly see a dimension from these guys that we haven't seen in 5 games? They are considered contenders and if they ever grow up and embrace that fact. Blazers could be in trouble.
I buy this aggressor argument to a degree on calls that relate to penetration, charges, etc. Blown obvious goal tending calls...not so much.
The good news when you lose a game in the playoffs is as follows: [This area intentionally left blank]
People realize that Houston has some very good players, and they are trying to win the game too, right? Just checking...
