Yeah, it was mentioned he would bypass surgery for now so he could play in the playoffs.

If it does end up being the Rockets, I hope Stotts is very vocal early in the series if Beverley is handchecking Lillard on the perimeter. I still don't understand why he and Avery Bradley are allowed to get away with it, and no other scrub PG in the league does. Chris Paul does, too, but it's a little more obvious why he gets the benefit of the doubt.

Would it be possible to pick up Billy Zabka for the playoffs?

We suck at lawyer ball. You know Phil Jackson would have started dropping those hints early in the year.

Very true. Stotts is facing a team option for next year, though, and maybe doesn't feel he has the freedom to be critical of the refs. I'd be happy if he takes a technical early in Game One the first time Beverley lays his hands on Lillard outside of the 3-point line. Just go ape shit and after the game point out the rule against handchecking perimeter players.

Agreed. He almost never takes T's for the team. If he flipped out, I'm not sure the refs would know how to respond.

Our video coordinator should also put together a clip to send the league about the Rockets flopping.

If I was Dame, I would just relentlessly go the direction of his bad knee. There's no way he's going to have the lateral quickness, so he'll probably rely even more on his cheap tactics to defend Dame.

I mean, if Beverly(Crusher) is in the game wouldn't this simply be _the plan_? "Ok guys, Bev is in there, every screen goes this way, every moves rolls against that knee. Every time he has the ball and you face up on him, you give him only the direction he'd have to start off on that leg with." HCP is right, I anticipate a literal explosion of knee with a Dame crossover move. The kind of move where afterwards the doctors look for the positive with a "Well there is at least one ligament that doesn't need to be re-attached...so you got that going for you....granted it the only one...and it was in your 'good knee' >.>"

The inner geek in me appreciated the Beverly Crusher comment but if you ever call Matthews, Wesley Crusher we'll have words, lol.

Wrong, you send Earl Watson or Allen Crabbe or Meyers Leonard at him, if they get ejected or flagrant 2 fouls, you have a lot less to lose.

Umm... I think you read it wrong. Dame would just be doing crossovers... not actually going at the knee. lol.

Tuesday April 8th, 2014 Games To Watch (Games Updated Throughout Comments)-

    San Antonio @ Minnesota
    Root For: Spurs
Reason: If we get by our 4/5 matchup, seeing the Spurs in the Conference Semis wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

    Dallas @ Utah
    Root For: Jazz
Reason: All Portland needs is one more win and one more Dallas loss to ensure they finish ahead of the Mavericks in the standings

    Oklahoma City @ Sacramento
    Root For: Kings
Reason: Spurs can just about wrap up the No. 1 seed with one more Thunder loss.

    Houston @ Los Angeles Lakers
    Root For: Lakers
Reason: For those of you still holding out hope for HCA

Has anyone commented on how close the Clippers are to the 2 seed? They're only 2 games back of OKC in the loss column. I didn't take the time to look up who would have the tiebreaker between OKC and LAC.

I think the reverse is more likely to be the case. Either that or I'm more of a reader than a writer. :) Plus, I said I didn't take the time, not that I didn't have the time.

With tablets and all the connectivity around.... the age-old adage that if you post a lot that you have nothing better to do is long gone. You can have a full time school and job and still post a ton.

I'm not sure he meant 300 posts in four years was a lot. Probably the opposite.
