Were you making millions with a heap of expectations on you from an entire city, as well?

You'd be surprised at how common young people making that kind of money is.

I was doing okay. Of course, the only people with expectations of me were the investors in our fund. They were a little more critical than the average Blazer fan.

Greg has 8 points and 3 rebounds in 7 minutes at half.

Did you have the media everywhere, too? And millions? and thousands of people with unrealistic expectations?

Mind you, I don't miss Greg, but he was in a no win situation here. It's just the perspective of it all... I highly doubt ANY of us have been in that situation, so we really have no room to say anything given that we don't know ourselves what we would really do in those predicaments.

Strenuus, perhaps you don't understand my position. I don't think whatever drinking Oden did really affected his rehab as much as his genetically deficient knees. I just think the stress of not living up to expectations plus injury after injury after injury took its toll.

He's been out for 6 games already with the back. He's done. May as well retire at this point.

I feel bad for Greg. The expectations were so great, and the failure even greater.

I'd feel even worse for my own selfish self if he'd made a come back for the Heat. That would have been like pouring tabasco sauce in an open wound.
