I actually like carrying this utility knife on my belt. Looking for a multi-tool like a Leatherman or something. Pretty handy.
Why would a true survivalist buy this with no provision for starting fire or making bombs or making man traps?
I guess Gerber is Tigard based for multitools. Lots of knife makers in Oregon. I have Shun knives in my kitchen which are US HQd in Tualatin with Kershaw. Will check them out. There is a keyring attachment called the Shard which my cousin recommended Looked at a few leathermans today at a surplus store, may look at one called the skeletool which seems more modern
