    Hello darkness, my old friend
Yes, there's a large population of Americans who are always afraid of something and think a gun will make them safe. Pretty sure the fear doesn't go away once they buy the gun.

lol...yeah, an AR-15 will keep you safe from Covid.

I know a guy who keeps a couple of cans of Alaska Bear Spray in his car. That shit can stop a grizzly in it's tracks (maybe) and it can shoot 20-40 feet

Choose a .22 At least, if you make a mistake they have a chance to live, DEPENDING WHERE you aim. The ammo is cheap and you can legitimately use it at a target range all day.

I've seen two. Neither time did I blame it on the gun over the shooter.

I've never understood people who give guns more power than the ones who wield them. Its all about the user. Not the object.

until some little kid plays with one....then it's about access, not the owner....I blame a nuclear warhead for existing and the crazy person who pushes the button....without the warhead it's just a crazy person....no button....objects are tempting to children and whack jobs

The owner isn't responsible for the access? The gun is? Flawed logic.

How come dog owners are held responsible for their dogs when they bite? Not the owners issue?

Please.......stop making excuses for poor responsiblity of owners.

a kid shooting a gun dad has at home isn't making a fucking excuse....a dictator pointing a missile at civilians isn't an excuse....your take on guns aren't an issue is full of holes….I didn't justify weapons and their availability as peaceful objects dude.....it's not an excuse, it's an observation...fuck guns ...we'd be better off without any of them...the fact is people are irresponsible and prone towards rage....your bucket list for humanity and mine are not in sync I'm guessing

I've lived in a society that doesn't allow gun ownership and one that does.....comparing these experiences is simple....one has a fraction of the crime ...guess which one

Its the makeup of the people and the societal standards as well as the enforcement of laws.

Better enforcement of law and order = less need for guns.

Can a Crayon create art on its own? If you leave it in the box, will it come alive, find some paper, and next thing you know there's art?

So if a Crayon can't create on its own, why is a gun any different?

Five people shot those five people in your life. People are evil. Just like there are evil cops. Evil exists. I have been around guns for 38 years and I have never seen anything. In fact, the only time I have ever had a gun pointed at me was by cops.

I'm not against less guns, if there aren't a bunch of thugs and criminals running around. I'd be down for zero guns. But look outside, shit is wild.

    America is full of shitheads.
