Is it new? I've been through Newberg many times and never noticed a drive-in. When I used to subscribe to the Oregonian I would often peruse the movie section and never saw them advertised. I've always loved going to a drive-in. I'm wondering how many others in here have stuck friends in the trunk so you could sneak them in without paying. Also, how many others have gone in a pick-up parked backwards or a station wagon parked backwards with the back door wide open so you could lay down while watching a movie. Good grief, I can't tell you how many pizzas I've eaten at the drive-in.

Not criticizing you or telling you how to do your job, which from knowing you somewhat, I have full confidence in.

I'm criticizing your employer and suggesting they should and likely do know better.

All over America, academics, scientists and doctors are deliberately excusing themselves from following the same advice that they are demanding others to follow, and it drops their credibility to near zero.

According to their website they've been there since 1953.

If you want to blame my employer, blame the State of Florida. I work for the state.

Our offices are all shut down and all workers are working from home, aside from the field biologists like myself. We work in the wild and have no need for human interaction to get our research done. If they decide to shut us down from field work, I will happily comply. I personally feel like I am at the least risk when I am working, currently.

Must be out of the way because I've been through hwy 99 many times back and forth to Spirit Mountain as well as many trips over the mountain from Farmington road without ever seeing it.

You don't need to go to Lebanon, the link says that one shut down in 2002.
Oddly enough, I went to that drive-in once, in my youth.

Well, I dated a girl from Lebanon when I was about 16. She was going to Girl's State at the campus of Oregon State University and I was going to JESSI (Junior Engineers and Scientists Summer Institute) at the Oregon State campus, And you thought I was a nerd 24/7. Don't let this pocket protector, horned rim glasses and slide rule in it's carrying case attached to my belt fool you.

Picked up my guitar over the last week more times than I have in the last two years. So that's something.

I also fired up the old NES that hasn't been played in a long time. Super Mario Bros. 3 FTW.

Hey everyone, I made coffee this morning and I'm currently drinking it. Will keep you updated throughout the day as the situation unfolds.

Edit: It's all gone. I drank it.
