OT The Home Isolation Thread- What are you doing?

Splitting and stacking firewood today.
Installing Rock Tamers on tow vehicle.
Had a great phone call from son this am, that's stationed in Qatar. They too are SD and have certain things closed (gym) on base.
There are two with the virus on base.

 

should I cop an air fryer?

 

I thought hair dryers were a thing of the past?

 

No kidding. I wanted this Ninja Oven but its massive for my tiny apartment. The air fryer seems more reasonable. But they don't seem to be on sale.

 

My wife has one and she really likes it.

 

I don't have a coffee table. Had one, it got annoying. Use one of those cube ottoman things.

 

Got an Instant Pot from son & daughter in law for XMAS. Thats thing is incredible once you get used to it. I must admit, scared the bejesus out of me at first!

 

I may start getting back to making real coffee again. The keurig just isn't cutting it at home these days, its good when I'm in a rush, but now with all this free time, I can grind and take my time.

Thinking about a pour over setup. or at least an automatic one.

Was thinking about getting the phillips machine too. Don't really want to spend the money for a Jura.

WAs thinking a small microwave + separate air fryer would be better.

 

I did, that sucker was hot and I burnt my first run of mac & cheese.

 

Lay a towel over it when releasing steam.
