It's really jarring to see the wheels fall off these guys on their new teams. None of them are performing as well as their worst years in Portland even in the McMillan years.

At the end of the season you might be able to make a list of the top 4 worst acquisitions in the NBA and deal exclusively with the Blazers (when you consider the opportunity costs of who they could've acquired/kept instead and salaries involved.)

At least Wes has an excuse, but LA got fat, Rolo hasn't been the same since his injury last year, and Nic is...... a lazy Frenchman.

Something so satisfying seeing Batum, LMA and Wes all blow so far. Wes didn't do too bad, 13 pts and played 29 mins, how's he looking mobility wise?

It'll be really interesting to see how this LMA thing plays out. He's already had a new article every other day crying about how he's still not comfortable and he doesn't like change. Look in the mirror douchebag, only yourself to blame.

I doubt we'll be better than the Spurs this year, but it sure is nice to be playing a different brand of basketball. We haven't really seen this kind of play for what, 10 years? Cuz if it wasn't LMA iso'ing, it was back when Roy was healthy and doing the same thing.

This might have been mentioned, but so far CJ and Damian are averaging more points and assists per game than the other 4 are combined.

He's very forgettable post-injury. He moves like an older vet and doesn't have much explosiveness or lift on his shot. It's exactly what every team except Dallas was expecting.

I think the prior regime over-achieved in Portland. Remember that LA/Batum/Matthews were all on this team during some crappy years, like the 11-12 season. How would that have happened if LA is such a great star?

To be fair though when did Wes ever have explosiveness or lift on his shot?

Hahahah! Actually... there's plenty of thought behind this but not a lot of time; I was actually doing some work & not thinking about this @ all when all the sudden I was thinking hey... I say/use "@ the zero hour" all the time in my conversations (sorta my catch phrase), the zero & "o" & time & back to "Dame Time..." BLAM! "0-Our" was born!:headbang:

@mhonkasalo: With LaMarcus Aldridge on the court, the Spurs have assisted on 48.9% of their baskets. 68.2% when Aldridge sits

Spurs fans have understandably high expectations.

And they've taken on the personality of their coach. LOL
