Wow. Great. Get back to me when everyone gets sick days rather than just the ones who have enough leverage to force it.

Slow, incremental progress is not your cup of tea? Why do you hate America?

I hate how illogical it is. The slow change since the 60s hasn't been good for employees at all. The slow change pushing all of the profits to the 1% hasn't been good at all.

I'm not interested in celebrating when the government helps them bend their employees over a barrel and gives them a sucker for taking it like a champ.

I agree everyone should have sick leave and when some people get it, that's a good thing. Just need more.

The Company I managed for a number of years, we implemented paid PTO (personal time off) to each employee. And they could use as they wish, but sick time was part of it. After 1 year we provided 3 weeks of PTO 5 years 4 weeks & 10 years 5 weeks.
The only thing we asked if they were using it during our season or busy time to give us noticed for anything a week or more.
It helped in that people didn't have to worry about calling in sick or last minute I need a couple days off.
They were allowed to carry up to two weeks over.
We also provided 3 days bereavement.

Democrats like Joe Biden are great because they can get bipartisan efforts through.
    • Upwards transfers of wealth? √
    • Military industrial complex? √
    • Massive corporate subsidies with zero strings attached? √

Democrats like Joe Biden support this along with Republicans. This is the slow bipartisan progress I'm supposed be counting on.

But luckily they have the loudest of us fooled into clamoring for the removal of law abiding citizens rights to have abortions, or effectively defend themselves from criminals. The criminals this fucked up graph (and abortion restrictions) creates.

Will the Supreme Court strike down debt forgiveness?

This has been sort of a tentpole issue for Biden and it looks like the SC will have a decision by the end of the week. It also seems to be a pretty divisive topic, although that may just be among my circle of friends, family, etc. Personally, I hope we help out some of those that could use it. Better than going to the corrupt bankers, massive corporations, and fraudsters.

I don't understand how the supreme court can even weigh in. The US government would be footing the bill, wouldn't it?

They very well could toss it out. The States claiming damages could have no basis, as I don't feel they do. The fact that they are waiting it out like this makes me think they are going to probably rule on the side of those States though.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. If so, that will be very disappointing.

Biden disclosed the fact that he has sleep apnea back in 2008...making him one of 30 million Americans with the disorder.

He made a major economic speech and CNN focused it's reporting on CPAP.

Trumper congressman Comer is trying real hard to investigate Bidens for something. His evidence always seems to be elsewhere. He KNOWS a crime was committed somewhere, dammit! He recently was on right wing media touting the killer witness against Hunter Biden and as soon as he is found MSNBC and others who laughed at him will look very silly.

The witness has been identified but alas not found as he is a fugitive from justice. Charged with being an unregistered agent of China, illegal arms deals, money laundering and other felonies.

But Hunter Biden posted dick pics of himself on his own computer....
