I definately would not hate Zo. He has done so much for the city of Miami and I would love for him and Payton to get rings.

Man I always respected Zo, even before the kidney transplant.....it's not like we're talking about Karl Malone or anything....it's good ole Zo.

I respect the man's game, but he's so immature. He whines, says stupid things to the media, plays dirty, and takes offense to small things during a game. And the whole quest for an NBA championship and a ridiculously undeserved contract at the same time over the past two years has been annoying. Not to mention he teamed up with Rob Babcock to completely embarass the Raptors franchise.

quit ur whinning! Wade was literally UNSTOPPABLE when his team needed him. After single handedly playing 1on1 with the Mavs, I think he deserves one fricking call.

If Dirk was unstoppable and hitting every shot, they would have called the same foul for him, because he most likely would ahve made it if it weren't for the contact.

Mavs fans bitch to much about officials. Be mad at your team for losing 3 games straight(again). Dirk for missing 2 key free throws in games 3 and 5 (both to win the game and avoid OT).

When Michael Finley stole the ball from T-Mac (while being out of bounds) where was all the bitching for the officials? **** happens. BS calls aren't always going to go your way.

Dirk has vanished. If the mavs win Terry deserves MVP hes the most consistent player on the mavs. Maybe the heat will trade for Terry in the offseason.

    D.A. and Kapono for Terry

    Sounds great to me.

I had the utmost respect for 'Zo when he was initially on the Heat. In fact, the Heat of the late 90's, early 2000's consisted of one of my favourite lineups (Zo, PJ, Jamal, Voshon Lenard and Timmy) but I really don't think he handled his career after his kidney problem in the proper manner.

If you want to look at someone who truly had class in basketball and as a person, even after getting the same ailment as Zo, it's Sean Elliot. Not only did he not bail on the Spurs, he stuck with them and ended his career very classily. Sadly, I can't say the same for 'Zo.

Once again, as Chutney said (nice name by the way, I'm guessing you're brown too? [IMG]), I respect him as a player, although his over the top celebrations on little plays piss me off like crazy. I think that's why I took such pleasure in watching him get absolutely demoralized by Vince Carter when he dunked on him. For once, he seemed to shut up and not throw is fists around after every rebound he grabs.

On top of that, as also mentioned, I haven't even touched upon the excessive whining and various unsportsmen like conducts that he is engaged in.

Furthermore; fine, he goes to the Nets, ok, that's understandable.
Then you force the Nets to trade you just because they traded away one of thier main peices...and when they trade you, following through with your whining, you refuse to go on the team that you got traded to.
This PISSES ME OFFF about NBA players. YOU'RE AN NBA PLAYER. You make millions of dollar to play a sport. Shut up and play the damn game. Ditto for Vince Carter, Steve Francis, anyone one else who demands a trade. This isn't a political war where you don't join parties that won't get voted on, you just go out and play your game. Toronto would have loved his hustle.
Not only did he not give us a chance, he forced Babcock to make yet another cock-headed move by letting him go. What in the hell was Rob thinking? You BOUGHT HIM OUT for absolutely no reason. Jesus Christ. Makes my blood boil everytime I think about it.

God, why didn't they just sit him down and suspend him if he doesn't wanna play? No need for sympathies, it's life, you can't whine your way out of everything, regardless of if you've had kidney ailments or not....it's life. He's not a 5 year old who needs to get everything he asks for. He's a grown man, isn't he?

And now he's on Miami, after screwing not one but TWO franchises. And there he is out there boasting, pumping fists and one game away from a championship that he jumped two ships to get?
Haha no thanks, I'd rather keep my respect for someone who deserves it, like Dwyane Wade.

Payton I wouldn't mind seeing win a ring, simply because I'm tired of him fading and messing up his own legacy.
Antoine Walker I just despise for absolutely no reason. (Well, I have reasons but that's another rant for another day).

I always live by the philosphy of karma, that 'what goes around comes around'.

If 'Zo wins a ring, that philosphy is not being put into practice and I truly believe it'll be put into practice in this series.

He doesn't deserve it, simple as that. You don't screw up that many things and yet still act like an ass when you're representing your team although you've been given a second chance. It's like he learned nothing.
No, I don't know him personally so to you responders, don't even try using that arguement on me, but it's all about self-presentation and I'm sorry, but from what I see and hear,' Zo's the last person that deserves a ring, kidney ailment or not.

To all you Heat fans or to all you fans who think he's heroic or deserves a ring. What if he did that to your franchise??

He gets traded to your team...and not only refuses to suit up for a game but buys his way out of town and gets a free ticket to land on the team of his choice. Meanwhile, your team gets absolutely nothing in return.
On top of that, he flaunts, flexes, taunts and sneers with every big play, as if he built the team he whined his way to on his own, like he deserves to be there.
    Yeah right. [IMG]

    Go Dallas.

    END RANT

Zo is incredibly intense, too intense for me most of the times. I wouldn't be surprised if he pops a vessel during a heated game... lol.. sometimes I see intense hatred for his oppoent in his eyes, it's kinda scary. [IMG]

I remember BJ Armstrong saying that Dirk was going to abuse Miami and he's eating those words right now. Zo doesn't have hatred for the other team unless it's the Knicks. It's his will to win, believe it or not he is the heart and sould of this team. His will and leadership has gotten this team where they are.

Well first of all I'm a neutral basketball fan in this series. I want the Heat to win on one hand so that my state of Florida can get the NCAA and NBA champions(first of both) in the same year and I love watching Wade and I want the Mavs to win to get my all-time favorite player a ring(Darrell Armstrong) and I enjoy watching Dirk play.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting igotask8board:</div><div class="quote_post">

Did I ever say Wade wasn't unstoppable? Did I say he didn't come through? NO. He deserves 1 fricking call? He got 25 FRICKING FT's the same amount as the entire Mavs team. I don't think you can possibly say that he deserved 1 call. Wade was unfreakingbelievable. I'm not trying to take anything away from him or the Heat, like I've said they deserved to win. I just don't think you can call a ticky tack foul like that with the game on the line in a game this crucial with 2 secs left in OT.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting igotask8board:</div><div class="quote_post">

Yeah unfortunately you are right. I hate that though. I understand stars deserve more calls from role players, but this is ridiculous how much the stars like Dirk, Wade, Lebron, Kobe get calls that wouldn't even get called in my rec league(which calls everything).

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting igotask8board:</div><div class="quote_post">Mavs fans bitch to much about officials. Be mad at your team for losing 3 games straight(again). Dirk for missing 2 key free throws in games 3 and 5 (both to win the game and avoid OT).

I'm not a Mavs fan(although they are probably a secondary fav team, just like the Heat). I know the Mavs blew the game, Missing 4 out of your last 7 FT's is a total chokejob. I'm not saying that the refs blew the game at all. I'm just saying I would have loved to see the game end because of the players rather than a ref who was the farthest away from the ball blowing the whistle.

I'm just saying if you take the game out of the players hands, there should have been a call on Wade for Jason Terry. Basically what I'm saying is it was the same scenario, but since Wade is a star he gto the whistle. Jason Terry was having a hell of a game too, so your comment about someone being hot and getting the whistles is a joke, because the same thing happened to Jason Terry.

Dirk plays better at home but thats styll not an excuse for hom to struggle against Haslem who has a bad shoulder. I expect him to elevate his game to another level for the next 2 games and prove to the world that he is a true leader. Mavs win in 7. Easily.

You remind me of one of my homeboys, who also loves Kobe.....for some reason he thinks the Mavs are gonna somehow just runaway with this series now also.....could it be that both of you guys would like to see a guy who is possibly better than Kobe, not win the title?????

Dirk still didn't play that great at home LO7. Dallas' confidence has to be on the floor right now and you could tell after game 5 with Dirk kicking things n Howard going nuts on a reporter. Miami has taken control of the series and they just have no answer for Wade. Also, Pat Riley aka The Master Motivator is not letting his team think they have it wrapped up. Look for Shaq to deliver on that promise to the city of Miami, he is not one to go back on promises. They really haven't seen Shaq at his best and this could be the game where he ends up dominating.

What a great role model he is hmm? If you're getting old and want a ring in the NBA but ask for a trade twice cause you feel you deserve more for absolutely no reason, then just demand a buyout and whine your way out of a city.

THIS IS A SPORTS LEAGUE, you play with what you got.

He could have atleast asked for a trade in the off-season or something, rather then refusing to play a single game or even set foot in the city (did he?).
Pardon my words, but what a dickhead. That has to be perhaps one of the most sneaky, underbellying, whining, least sportsman-like conducts I have ever witnessed in my lifetime.
And I'm supposed to sympathize for this guy? I'm supposed to root for him?

Do you know how much I want to see Wade win a Finals MVP and a ring?
And I can't even cheer for him cause I have absolutely no respect for 'Zo.

I'm not hating on him as a player, I'm hating on this "Zo deserves a ring" bullshit. What makes people say that? You don't screw over two franchises and suddenly deserve a championship.

He's played 13 seasons and has been one of the best defensive players in the past 15 years, he has given his heart and soul to this franchise that's why wwe want him to get a ring.
