I don't think that's his job. His job was to dare them. See if they were dumb enough to take the bait.

Now we have more ammunition against them. They made their threats publicly. And everybody has seen it.

 

Maybe he should have just talked about airplane food instead of politics. That would have kept him on air.

 

He’s a comedian. Say basically the same thing as a joke and he’s pretty much untouchable from a legal standpoint.

 

I don’t think his job was to dare them. His literal job was to comment on current events in a sharp comedic way. If he had made his point with humor he’s still on the air to skewer Trump another day.

 

I read it and it was funny (in an ironic way). I didn't get to see his delivery.

 

What’s going to happen when Coach Steve Kerr goes off in one of his press conferences like he has done two or three times about Trump? Honest question.
