KG let him go by? Maybe it's because Kobe is faster so he flew in to the hoop and slammed all over I think it was ?Rasho's? grill... [IMG]

But..but...I thought KG was all first-team Defense?! And I suppose you could say it wasn't "over" KG, but Kobe certainly went by KG. If KG was too lazy to contest it then too bad it's his laziness. Even KG admitted it was a good play.

if kg contested the shot, he would have likely fouled him

your right... Kobe went flyin by him and there was really no way Kevin could have done much beside foul him... the comment about all first defensive team makes no sense tho... you cant possibly stop every single play... especially one from one of the best scoring talents in the L...

Also anyone who would have said that wasnt a good play would look stupid...

exactly. what if KG was playing w/ 4 fouls? even if he did foul kobe, he'd probably make the free throws. it'd be pointless

Actually, if you look at the box score, KG only had 3 fouls total for the game, and the dunk was in the 3rd quarter; he only had 2 fouls.

KG isn't known for his shot blocking skills. he had enough to worry about with helping Rasho with Shaq. if KG went over to help, he could risk Kobe passing it to Shaq and get burned either way.

    3. Well, I guess it'd be last season, but, I liked that sick 360 behind the back that Kobe did that got up for an ESPY, and the double clutch he did on Duncan in the playoffs

    1) Laker fan since the 1999 season

    2) Best players? Simple, everyone that wears that Laker jersey and plays hard every night.

    3) Best moments: Robert Horry hitting that clutch 3 in the 2002 Western Conference Finals, and Kobe Bryant driving around the baseline and slamming it with one hand, then examining his shoulder in the 2003 Western Conference quarterfinals.
