I think Lillard should be given 90% of a max contract and I should receive the remaining 10%.

no brainer in my view but he might want to wait until the following year to negotiate a longer deal with more cap space

Then what if he shatters his knee? I don't think he'll do that

Neil is pretty slick, he might sell Dame on the old shave some money and buy some talent schpiel.

Going to see a lot of one year deals this off season. I think Wes will do the same

Heck no! When his team option is up in 2 years he'll be 26.
Too old to give a 5 year deal to at that time.

I think he gets one whether we think he should get one or not. Just the way it is.

Dame has the most impressive marketing strategy I've seen from any Blazer ever. I know NO will do anything to keep him around. I can't remember another player who had a bigger impact in his first 3 years with the team.

I'm a huge Lillard fan. Think he's great. But, he definitely has a couple things he has to shore up. He's careless with the ball sometimes and he needs to learn how to draw contact better when he takes it to the rim.

But you would allow him to stick around for another year just to make sure right?

    We have a Winner!
He is going to get one somewhere. Might as well be Paul Allen's money.

I would also like to see that floater come around.
Lillard has 10 more years to become one of the greatest to ever play the game. By that i mean truly a great point guard. He is well on the way IMO.

well, actually he needs to get calls when he creates contact driving to the rim. He's not getting any favors in that dept.

He needs to be more dramatic and initiate the contact. No reason he should be averaging 6 or 7 FTA a game.
