Dame Lillard is simply an amazing basketball player, amazing talent, amazing winner. Still has some holes in his game (defense) but has shown the ability to work on his game and improve dramatically. A year or two ago he wasn't nearly as effective taking the ball to the basket.
The problem right now is that his 3 is a bit off, maybe not having Wes is hurting his ability to get open looks, maybe teams are guarding him better, maybe it's just a confidence thing. Whatever's the reason, he needs to just keep playing hard, take what the defense gives him and he'll be able to concentrate on other areas until his shot comes back and he'll be stronger than ever.

Lillard has really improved at finishing at the rim, he just needs to get his 3pt shot back. He has a lot of growth to do as a PG too. Now he's just average at creating for his teammates, and he's always been average at best at defense. That's why when his 3pt shot isn't going down, it's a big deteriment to his game, because that really is his strength.

To put it into perspective, this kid won a season series against Houston. The fact that he improved on his paint scoring, getting to the line and defense proves to me that we can expect him to develop another facet to his game this summer.

The one thing that is valued the most IMO is his mojo. The kid wants to win, thinks he can win, and that's how teams can have success in the league. Every team needs "THAT" player. I've really only seen 2 other players with that type of swag and that was Kobe and Jordan.

I would like to add though mags.. That from the looks of things Lillard doesn't care how the team wins. If he drops a triple double in a win, cool.. If he scores 8 points and they win awesome. Lillard comes across to me as a player who doesn't look to get his numbers if it's going to cost the team the win.

Can't say that about certain other PG's for other west teams.

Absolutely!!!! He believes in this team and I'm sure the team respects him for that.

I love Lillard. The most exciting player since Roy. Of course I wish he'd find his stroke again, and I talk smack about his slump, but whatever, I know shit happens. People confuse "hate" with criticism... Just because some criticize doesn't mean they hate the guy.

The term hating doesn't mean you literally hate someone. It means you are tossing hate their way.

So if someone makes a bullshit statement that has no factual basis like:

    That is hating.

So, is everyone hatin' when they speak on opinion? I mean come on.. It's one persons opinion. Big deal.. If we had to deal with all facts and no opinions, this place would become stale very fast.

Blue32, you are right. But you can't win arguing with a referee.

If we could I think we'd all prefer to sign him to a 5-year vet minimum salary, right? So, I'd prefer NOT to give him a MAX contract. But if that's what it takes (and that IS what it'll take) to keep him, then so be it.

    I did.
You said "So if someone makes a bullshit statement that has no factual basis like: xxxx , That is hatin"

So unless people speak facts, they're hating. So your position allows for no opinion, or its hating.

I say fuck that. Let people speak their opinion/mind and instead of calling people 'haters' refute them with factual evidence supporting otherwise.

    Ya dig?

So when I refute them I'm to use factual evidence but they aren't supposed to use it when making their bullshit statement?? You got it backwards bro.

Jesus christ man. think outside the box. My whole point was to stop calling people haters for speaking their opinion.

You can use whatever the fuck evidence you want. I dont care if its fact or fiction, just quit calling people haters for talking on a discussion board about opinions they bring up about the team we love.

Just because you criticize something about the team, doesn't mean you're a hater. That is just some bullshit word to make someone feel bad for having a different opinion than the norm.

So if someone gives their opinion and says:

Kate Upton is an ugly bitch.

    They aren't hating??

    I thought so.... :facepalm

I guess that's your opinion. See how that works? Maybe to some she is, and maybe to some she isn't. Who fucking cares? But why call someone a name (to try to make them feel bad) because you disagree with their stance?

The point is, you're indirectly doing the same fucking thing as the 'hater' you're trying to oust.

I personally don't think she's that great. Kinda chubby. Her tits are probably very veiny up close.

If were talking "supermodels" she's way down the list on my spank bank.
