The Sixers put on an impressive showing in Utah last week, as they were the only team to go undefeated - finishing the tournament with a perfect record of 5-0.Williams, drafted in 2005 out of South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Ga., averaged a tournament-best 24.0 points per game, along with 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals. Thus far, it has been an impressive summer for Williams, as he also made the First Team Las Vegas Summer League All-Stars and finished second in tournament MVP voting. To cap it off, Williams? dunk over Golden State Warriors center Brian Cusworth (which can be seen by clicking here) was rated the second best play of the entire Vegas tournament.Amundson, the 2006-07 NBA Development League Rookie of the Year, put on an equally impressive performance. Amundson led the Rocky Mountain Revue in rebounding at 9.8 boards a game, while averaging 15.4 points per game and shooting 62.8% from the field. Good to hear, but hopefully Louis Williams can take this and continue to progress during the regular season. Summer league means nothing, except for a boost in confidence for some players.
