Kobe Bryant? Overrated? Here comes Clear It Out with more of his anti-Kobe remarks

    Underrated - Shawn Marion
Overrated - Lebron James (great showing in the Finals by the next Jordan)

Wow you love Kobe too much. Because I put him as overrated, I'm anti-Kobe? So, with that logic, you're anti-LeBron. And you're a Shawn Marion homer for putting him as underrated? Idiot. Get a life. Stop worshipping Kobe Cryant.

<div class="quote_poster">Legacy Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Paul Pierce and Shawn Marion are two players that are extremely underrated. An overrated player is <u>Dirk Nowitzki</u>. Yes, you heard me correctly.</div>

Thats easy for a Golden State fan to say after that series, however if you look at his play generally through this season Dirk did play MVP ball. He led the Mavericks to nearly a 70 win season. He became more of a banger this year even though he could still shoot that jumper. Atlhough Dirk did not step up come playoff time, he is not overrated.

For a 7 footer, the guy is a horrible rebounder. A seven footer should be grabbing 10-13 boards a game, but he only gets around 8. Another thing is that he isn't a good post player for a guy his size. I admit it, Dirk is a great player, but he is overrated. A superstar doesn't choke in the playoffs against a team ranked 8 seeds lower, but he did just that.

So Barkley shouldn't have averaged more than 6 RPG because he was only 6'6, right?

That's a different case scenario. Barkley overachieved what he needed to get as a player. Yeah, he should have average 6 rebounds a game, but the more the merrier. Dirk's completely different though, he should average more, but Barkley did more than what he was capable of while Dirk is doing less.

You also have to consider the Maverick's have a bunch of good rebounders as well.

Overrated Player: LeBron James. This guy while being good, is way overrated in the media. Stuff like "What will LeBron do?" and "Will LeBron finally beat the Spurs" It's not LeBron beating the Spurs, it's the Cavs beating the Spurs. He is loved by the media, but so far has showed up in the finals less times then anyone I can remember.

Underrated Player: David West. This guy is a great player. He can shoot, drive and play anywhere. He plays great with Chris Paul and plays through injury. This guy definitely deserves more praise.

(not all-time overrated, but overrated)- Hakeem Olajuwon

his 2 titles were in a very weak time period IMO. He's top 20 all-time, but he is not better than Duncan, K. Malone, or Shaq
