LeBron hate is straight up nonsense. There have been so many players who have walked off a little early in all sorts of games. LeBron is probably the best teammate in the history of the game since he is the second best player and he's way nicer to his teammates and gets them the ball more than Jordan did. As far as a sore loser, did you see his post game presser? I doubt you did, go watch it and see how he praised the Heat, took the blame for the loss and talked up Jimmy Butler like no superstar talks up another he's in the middle of a series with. Your comments and everyone's irrational hate for LeBron is so off base. Damn, did The Decision really mean that much to you? The guy is seriously as likable as Dame.

Won one and then lost the next two, just to answer your question marks.

I have a tendency to agree with this. LeBron is a pretty decent human being. He gives praise to other players and off the court does huge things all around the country.

This place is funny. When the Lakers are winning, everyone bitches about how the league is rigged, just hand them the trophy, they're done watching, etc. But when Miami shows up with heart and hustle, and makes it a series again, there's hardly a peep.

My buddy told me before the game that Miami has no chance whatsoever ... and he doesn't understand why his kid has always been quick to throw in the towel in sports.

I'll never understand the defeatist attitude that is so prevalent.

"Pretty decent human". Guy set up a private school in his old hood, and pays for their college when they graduate. Who cares what he has accomplished ON the court, the fact he does that makes him a HOF'er by itself.

Always been like this here. I believe it's because many on here admittedly don't watch the NBA other than the Blazers. I honestly believe their love for the pinwheel blinds them to the rest of the game and it's players.
And never forget, garbage players aren't hated, usually it's the great ones.

Mayers made it to the NBA finals before Dame and CJ.

Possibly, but while I'm a fan of the game as much as I am a fan of the Blazers, I don't watch much outside of the home team unless it's the playoffs. So, I don't personally see that distinction meaning much. However, I'm also a fan of competition first and foremost, and that's what I think is missing with many. They would rather complain about working to achieve what they don't have.

Judging by the DISASTROUS ratings of the Finals (just 4 million people watch game 3 - almost 12 million watched Philadelphia-SF NFL Sunday Night Football instead), I'd say the NBA's product right now doesn't have much appeal beyond the home team fanbases. I certainly stopped watching and none of my friends have mentioned the Finals yet - and this is a basketball town. Game 3 was literally the last watched Finals game in the modern era - a record previously broken by Game 1, and then Game 2.

Well, with the way the NBA referees the games, its no wonder...

The 'star' treatment has gotten out of hand. When you cant breathe on some players without collecting a foul - there's a problem....

Does anyone remember Trent getting a Tech for celebrating?
Have they called one of those fouls recently?

Something tells me the interest in the Finals will increase now that the Heat have won a game and they are not competing against the NFL.
Problem right now is this is a very active time and there is plenty going on.

It will be interesting to see how the Finals ratings are compared to MLB play off ratings. I know I have not watched a game since the Blazers were eliminated. Like others just get tired of the ref's impacting the game in favor of the superstars.

Wow, that was an intense game and then the Lakers locked it down right there at the end.

Real question if AD gets MVP. His defense single handedly won them that game.

I think LeBron has to be the MVP so far. I realize that AD's defense on Butler was amazing tonight but LeBron played great defense too. If AD goes off offensively and plays that D again in game 5 and the Lakers close it out, then he might get that MVP.
