There's nothing the "NBA" can do about it if you make shots.

    This was on us.

I thought we got plenty of good looks in Q4.

You said the team needs more talent and more scorers. I agree. So maybe the Blazers' problem is lack of scorers/talent and not some vast conspiracy?

Like it or not the Warriors are NBA Champions and will be until someone unseats them. They will get every benefit of the doubt.

The Blazers have done way way more than expected of them. It does not take a conspiracy to say they are just overmatched.

    This x 100.

Love this team to death but the Warriors are clearly more talented.

I don't think there's an actual conspiracy to preordain and ensure certain match-ups. Just referees giving preferential treatment to certain players, and over managing the ebb and flow of games for the enjoyment of the home crowd and to maintain the TV audience.

Yes the Warriors are more talented. And more experienced. Last night however the Blazers were outplaying them, so the officials stepped in and evened out the game; the more talented team stepped up their game; and that's all she wrote. I cannot prove nor disprove my opinion of last night's game management, but it is how I interpret what I observed.

I feel pretty good about our chances to steal a game or two, so I'm not giving up. And neither will the Blazers.

Do you really not see a huge discrepancy in how the game is called?

Yes, the Warriors are clearly the better team.

Yes, we should have made shots in the 4th quarter

Where I disagree is that we have NO shot at beating this team if the refs aren't going to call it both ways. We could have been up 20 points in the third (when we WERE making shots) if the refs weren't keeping them in it. We can't beat this team AND the refs. We're simply not good enough.

We have no rim protection, turned the ball over on multiple blown plays and bricked bunny shots at the rim....like I said before...CJ and Mason couldn't throw a basketball in a swimming pool when it counted tonight...that's not on the refs.....I got over worrying about how a game is reffed decades ago..you need to put the ball in the hoop to win and our players stunk up the offense at the end. Calls or no calls...we bounce back pretty well after these type losses though...the Warriors haven't lost much at home for the last couple seasons...are folks really that shocked?

Again, that was in the 4th quarter. I'm talking about before that, when Dame was lighting it up and we were making shots. We could have run away from them, but it was during that third quarter that they made a ton of questionable calls and kept the Warriors in it.

From what I saw, the Warriors basically exposed Plumlee and Davis as not good enough. Plums had TWO shots blocked on plays he was going to the rim. That's terrible. He can't score unless he gets the ball within a foot of the basket.

    Davis is a PF, not a C.

It is valiant to embrace the struggle, even in the face of certain defeat.

Just as a reminder, exactly 1 team since 1980 has won a championship with what is now a bottom 15 media market except those teams that had Duncan or James. (btw, that 1 team had league darlings Shaq and Wade).

So, we don't have a player considered one of the best all-time, and we're not in a top15 media market. We're not winning a championship, maybe ever! Try to embrace the struggle, see how far we can get.

I'm pretty sure no one denies these things and no one is going to deny the Blazers didn't play a perfect game. No team does. Some of us believe we didn't have an even playing field during certain stretches of the game, and we wish that weren't the case. Our chances of beating the Warriors are very thin even on an even playing field. Take that away and even on our best night, which we were having last night for most of the game, we have no shot at all. It's frustrating; so we vent.

More proof was handed out today. I wouldn't be surprised if KD to GSW was in the works for quite some time now. The other teams that got meeting had no chance from the beginning. It's all in design similar to the WWE. What a price of shit league! I won't even be mad if CJ decides to leave at the end of his contact to a more attractive location. Or anyone else for that matter. Go ahead PA move the team to Seattle!

You were. And if we had signed Parsons, you would have.

Do I need to bump your threads from last summer?
