Thinking this all has to simply do with “Americans” and our current economy is incorrect. The NBA is a GLOBAL product now. Other countries are forklifting money out to get those games sent there way. Trust me when I tell you the amount of money coming in will do nothing but grow. Next broadcasting contract will make this latest one look like pocket change FAMS!

You kinda lost me. Or my point was lost on you. Not sure which.
Whether the cost for the fan goes up or down, os not my point.
My point is I don't see Americans continuing to watch large corporations get tax cuts, and then spend billions on advertising, driving the salaries up even more. When that money could be better spent improving the communities they are located in. As the common mindset seems to be shifting more and more to community improvement on a local level, will the people shift enough to do a boycott of these companies?

I don't know. I don't know how far the average person is willing to go to battle these corps in their locale.

All i know is this. Sports salaries are driven by advertising deals. Mfgs of products are willing to spend more and more on advertising.
I find it hard to believe the average person doesn't care about how much money corps pay on advertising and how much it drives the costs of everything up.

To me, advertising is way out of control and not sustainable in the long run.

Unfortunately I'm not sure how that happens unless we get some very strict government protections...

I definitely agree that it's gone too far.

The sell of the Celtics is all the proof you need that this league is thriving.
