Dinka didn't get many minutes, but he still averaged more assists than Yinka at GW.

We are about to continue in our strong tradition of bad drafts. First off, Westbrook will be terrible! Has anyone watched this guy? I watched a lot of his games, he's not a point, and he's not a 2 guard. He cannot shoot, and he didn't average more than 2 assists or so. He's a tweener that will be good for nothing and possibly out of the league after his rookie contract expires. Lopez, bleh, whatever. And Galinari is another soft Euro. Is this really the best we can do?</div> Did you really watch him play? In workouts with other teams he shot 36 out of 50 for threes (led all pg's). His midrange game is really really good. He gets a high release(for his size) and can stop in a dime. He's a great defender(what the Nets need off the bench). If he falls and the Nets don't draft him that would be a huge mistake.

Another option: Trade down while also picking up a future draft pick to stash with the other assets. Which team would want to move up to the tenth pick? Do the Raptors have any interest in Danilo Gallinari? Would they trade 17th pick + future 1st for 10th pick? Who else wants to move up?
well i like westbrooks workout with the blazers... he had great form and explosive to the hoop. sooo i guess he really got better since his ucla days in regards to the comments of mr footswalker

Workouts are overrated. Any competent college or even high school player can drain wide open shots. How about when he's being guarded, and not guarded in a little 2 on 2 workout, where the players all try to make each other look good. He shot 33% from 3 last year. And that's with a guy like Love demanding double teams down low. So these were open looks from college distance and he shot 33%. Like I said, I watched him and he's not a shooter.

At least Williams was among the nation's leaders in assists. Westbrook averaged 2.5 assists for his college career (4.3 last year)? And he never had a double digit assist game either.
